my name is name is zah zahra ghayour-kelly. my work as policy coordinator and project manager for nature in the city, a local nonprofit, has involved in greening the city spaces. if you're not familiar with it, greening the city is a great local nonprofit in helping the residents restore the canopy and the habitat. i'm also currently serving a four-year term on the san francisco bay restoration committee. you might wonder why i want to serve on the urban forest council. i would like to help enhance the health of the san francisco urban forest street tree canopy. i believe better informed residents can be great asset and partners in a mission to have healthy citywide tree canopy. i would also like to find solutions to have needed resources to have reliable and systemic maintenance for the city's trees. my daughter and i both have planted over 20 trees in the city. we think it's a joy that can be enjoyed by so many, including by birds and animals. friends of urban forests has given me rich experiences, and reminds me of the diver
