zain asher is live at the new york stock exchange. zain asher, how much more money are we talking?. this is for new customers for the time being only. but it's the first price increase netflix has shown us since 2011. they want to use this new money to invest in original shows like "orange is the new black" and "house of cards." i have not seen a single episode. >> what? >> i know. and by the way, even though it's only 1 to $2, when you consider the fact that they have 48 million subscribers worldwide, that certainly does add up. but for existing customers, you pay about $8 a month now. that's likely to continue for the time being. but he will continue that price level for a generous period of time but it does, of course, open the door for possible price increases for existing customers in the near future. brooke? >> okay. so if they want this extra money, they want to invest in new shows and that's fully understandable, but didn't netflix report some huge jump in profit? how much more cash are they looking for? >> the reason they are doing the price increase now is, quite simply,

. >> i want to thank zain azure. we are assuming a lot about the black boxes. they find the black boxes will the data be able to be extracted as we saw in the piece? >> the data will be able to be extracted. there are very few cases that i worked on where it hasn't been, most notably were the two planes that went into the world trade center on september 11. those black boxes were destroyed. there was no data because of the intense heat. and in the water it is very different. and i know of virtually no aircraft accident in the water where they haven't been able to get the data off. even once the pinger stops if the debris field is small for example like silk air, once they find it they will be able to readily find the black boxes. if they get them they will have data. >> we can be assured of that. why aren't black boxes modernized -- maybe it can be like find my iphone app? >> so you should be able to remotely trigger it like an iphone? i think that there are lots of ways you could can conceively improve the technology of a black boxes but it becomes a risk/bene

zain asher is joining me with more.edge. >> the black box is crucial in terms of figuring out the flight's maneuvers, talking speed, altitude, what controlled what during that flight. i spent the day in buffalo with an engineer who walked me through the process on how you go about downloading information on a flight data recorder and reading it on a computer to figure out what may have happened on a flight like mh-370. take a listen. >> crash protected and shop mountd. >> reporter: this is what investigators will see once the black boxes are found and day da downloaded for analysis. >> we will see the data in a tabular format and graphic cal fa for matt. >> reporter: they contain hundreds of analysis. all displayed with a series of graphs. >> every flight data recorder records the dates. it is a series of ones an zeros. in order for humans to understand that, we need to convert it into engineering units, altitude, ear speed recorded at knots. >> it is through graphs like these that will learn if someone on board deliber

zain asher is at the new york stock exchange. hi there, zain. >> hi there.the fine print. the company posted new legal terms to the we believe site appearing to say if you joined any of the online communities or if you interacted with the company in a broad number of ways you would not be able to sue them. you would have to go through informal negotiation or arbitration and needless to say, there's a degree of outrage and that prompted the company to void the new terms. if i agreed to a discount on the cheerios am i giving up the right to sue? they said it was a big misunderstanding and didn't apply to people liking the facebook page but maybe for a coupon or entered sweepstake and check the box agreeing to terms and conditions. so bottom line is you have to read the fine print. we see the pages with terms and conditions online. a lot of people don't read. so people don't know what they're signing up for. companies include arbitration clauses and common in the corporate world. if you have agreed to arbitration, you can still pursue a claim and won't be heard
