one of them the sister of zaire. calvin and i spoke with zaire on first of all this morning about this loss for his family. >> it was earlier during the evacuation orders. um. just let her know that, you know, we had to get out of there. and, um, she was collecting her stuff and and presumably, um, i felt that she was on her way out. >> and you thought that she was safe, that she was out. when did you learn that she didn't make it out? >> um, so my mother's disabled. she's, um, in her 80s, and she has steps in front of her home. so when we were, it was a chaotic scene. um, about the time that we were leaving. and i knew we had to take time to get my mother down the steps. me and my cousin pj, he was the only person to help. and i had my wife, my one year old baby. and as we were leaving, i glanced and i remember seeing her car still parked out in front of the house. >> and did you go over to the house? >> yeah. well, i just made a yell, like went to the house. we got to get out. we got to get out. we got to go now. c
