zanu p.f. and the main opposition m.d.c. and we see no bridge at this stage between the 2 parties it looks as though we've set for more pull r.t. and possibly more confrontation is part of the issue with him as a politician that perhaps he doesn't realize that he's he's hemorrhaging political capital here. well yes to a large extent i mean there's a whole load of inconsistency is in play as well yesterday the president indicated that the demonstrations would be going ahead they had raised concerns over the last few weeks that there may be violence and it was a sort of last minute thing from the police last night to issue a prohibition order hours before the demonstration when people preparing for this thing and the m.d.c. went into court to battle this the police apparently according to the opposition told the court that they didn't have the manpower to contain a demonstration but clearly they had the manpower to cut off the city and and effectively shut down harare for the day so you know we see a whole lot of contradictions in play and a lack of leadership from the government with respect to the constitutional rights that are there to protests it's another question of course wh
