michael zeldin is with us, too, former federal prosecutor, so i want to start with you, michael zeldin and ask you the question about the significance as you see it with this latest development? >> potentially, this has a lot of significance. potentially it's a red herring and turns out to be nothing. on the significance, positive side of it, you have jared kushner meeting with russians who have information, presumably data about hillary rodham clinton, and jared kushner's role is data analytics. he is in charge of their data operation who used targeted date at to push out information positive about their candidate and negative about their opponent. we also know that a few weeks after this, july 22, i believe, wikileaks drops its first dump of data from the dnc. you have this coalescing of events that could be causal or coincidenceal of a meeting with a person who has data, and wikileaks all occurring within a few weeks of one another. potentially, there's significance there in that the fbi and special counsel mueller will want to look at it. on the other hand, potentially, and just co

zeldin. this bill requires the government accountability office to review the alternatives for the final disposition of the department of homeland security science and technology directorate's plum island animal disease center, commonly known as plum island. since 1954, plum island, located in sufficient objection county, -- suffolk county, new they are aging and nearing the end of their life cycle. that's why in 2005, d.h.s. announced that the work being conducted on plum island would be moved to a new federal facility in kansas. plum island will continue to operate until the national bioand agro-defense facility is fully operational and a complete transition has been made in 2022 or 2023. this raises the question of what will happen to plum island once its activities are fully transferred over to the new facility. the department looked at this issue and in june of 2016 released a report that reviewed several options for the final disposition of plum island. this bill simply requires g.a.o.

zeldin: sure.ortunately when we have these committee hearings, each member gets about five minutes. when you have so many members on the committee, it ends up taking hours to get through each member having five minutes. for the fed chair, it is certainly in opportunity for her to answer follow-up questions, because what members will do is submit questions for the record, then the chair will have some time to respond. who knows, maybe we can get additional information answering those questions. julia: there is always another day. i what to got back to what you were saying about janet yellen's role and the potential future at the fed. there's the possibility that gary: could be the fed. what kind of chairman do think he would make and would you support his choice? rep. zeldin: for one, what i know of him, he seems to be exceptionally qualified. he is brilliant on so many aspects of understanding our economy, our monetary policy, the path forward. i have always been completely impressed where i have c
