san francisco last night. ktvu's allie rasmus is joining us live from just outside of zuckerberg general hospital with the latest update from police. allie. >> reporter: according to the chp, the chp officer who was injured in this incident and the man shot by police in the officer-involved shooting, their conditions have both improved in the last 24 hours or so. they came here to san francisco general hospital yesterday. the chp officer is in fair condition after abrasions and a head injury. the man who was shot by police came to the hospital with life threatening injuries. but he has been upgraded to serious condition from critical. this started around 3:30 yesterday afternoon after a honda crashed into the city's oceanview neighborhood near montana street. law enforcement officers had followed that car into san francisco from san mateo county. and the county auto theft task force is made up of chp and local law enforcement officers. the group's primary focus is tracking down stolen cars. it appears that "the honeymooners" day may have come up as a stolen vehicle. police tried to stop the driver of the car. so
