first in santa rosa.f we take a look at san francisco downtown san francisco, this is the month and i wanted to point your eye towards this. normal is 0.3, 9 to just under 4 tenths of an inch. so far we've gotten almost 1.7 inches. now, this doesn't count on thursday because that was still february. but just friday, saturday and sunday, we've got more rain well over a, you know, twice even 3 times as much rain as we should have gotten really for the entire month. and we still have the whole month to go. so that is to say it's been a very active start to march. we've got one low pressure system. the one that roared across is bringing all the sierra and then second one that sitting out here in the pacific. and that's keeping us a little unsettled today. so as we zoom in, you can see the clouds. you also see a little bit of moisture out there, not necessarily anything hitting the ground, but you also see cold air. if you look up towards ukiah or clear lake, that's where very cold air is still rolling in. so

i'm sara stinson reporting in santa rosa. back to you. well, in the south bay, san jose police made an arrest in 2 deadly shootings that happened last month. >> first one happened on february 18th in a parking lot. the s a shopping center on story road. police say people were attending a vigil when someone shot a man and a woman. the man identified as 26 year-old joe duran died at the scene. police say they arrested want perez for that shooting on march. first in san jose he was booked into the santa clara county jail for homicide. the second shooting happened overnight february. 29 in a parking lot on moore park avenue. police say 34 year-old jose rodriguez was shot found in a car. they say they arrested denzelle brown on homicide charges, but now they're still looking for another man in connection to that incident. investigators are still looking into the motive behind the 2 shootings. well, in the east bay, oakland, police arrested a minor in connection to a shooting kill the store clerk earlier this year. officers age i was on e was w

now from santa rosa. >> well, here in santa rosa, the investigation continues into an early morning pursuit and shooting that has left 4 deputies injured. and one suspect that according to the sonoma county sheriff's office just after midnight monday, deputies responded to reports of a person brandishing a rifle in an unincorporated area of west santa rosa. when deputies arrived on scene, the suspect fled in a vehicle. deputies pursued according to the sheriff's office. at one point, the suspect a man stopped and fired multiple shots at the deputies. they returned fire. >> 4 deputies were injured. one was shot in the leg. 2 other suffered hand injuries and the 4th was shot in the head following the exchange of gunfire. the suspect drove away and crashed his vehicle a short time later near stoney point road between bellevue avenue and todd road in west santa rosa. the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene at this point. it's unclear if he died from the crash or if he was injured in the exchange of gunfire. several sheriffs office vehicles were also damaged during the pursuit at last check
