the sites on the northeast. >> let's check to see what her weekend looks like. >> about 11 inches across the amarillo area. they updated that number and now they are looking at totals of a feet across that start of the storm system. it has packed a punch across parts of the plains and in the southwest. we have winter weather advisories and the snow is coming down especially across the san angelo area. it will continue to move eastward and track up the east coast as we head into the weekend. because of that we have had winter storm watches across eastern parts of main southeastern parts of new hampshire and northeastern connecticut. we are looking at the narrow area that could see more than 6 inches of snow.

less snow than that. it could bring us to average levels across the northeast. it is not the block bust ir we have seen in the past across the northeast. that's something to watch. we could be looking at significant impact of the storm system. they could be looking at 6 inches of snow. we have snow coming across parts of southwestern texas winter storm warnings winter storm advisories. rain in parts of the southeast. in advance of the storm system tracking up the east coast we have winter storm watches in maine and connecticut. the heavier snow totals will be right in there where we have the shading in blue those watches. that's where totals could be over 6 inches of snow. potentially over 10 inches in the higher elevations and across parts of main and lesser amounts across parts of the winter weather advisories.
