ratings. >> fox news last night put out this statement in response saying quote we are not sure how iowans are going to feel about him walking away from them at the last minute, but it should be clear to the american public by now this is rooted in one thing, megyn kelly whom he has viciously attacked since august and has spent four-days demanding to be removed from the debate stage. opening the show megyn kelly said she is going to be here. >> i will be there. brett's already there. i think wallace is coming today, i am not sure. but the debate will go on with or without mr. trump. >> this could be a boom for trump with supporters but this is where he gets into political problems. he's in a neck and neck race with ted cruz. what he is going to do by removing himself from the debate stage is hand cruz an unimpeded microphone from which he can spew to anything he wants about donald trump.
