haruka, a dance student, was last seen leaving the arts building around 9:30 p.m. sunday. she never made it back to her dorm room. her roommates called the police the next morning to report her missing. her body was found tuesday in a creek on campus. another manhunt developing this morning for an accused murderer who escaped from a psychiatric facility in washington state. anthony garver is considered extremely dangerous. here he is back in 2013 with the woman he's accused of killing. cops say he cut her throat and then stabbed her more than 20 times. he bought a bus ticket to spokane on wednesday night. that's when he went to his parents' house before he ran off. garver and another patient, mark alexander, escaped through a loose window on wednesday. he was captured after he boarded a bus and then asked how to get to the airport. and brand-new video shows the man in white in the moments right after he helped carry out the brussels bombing. a series of surveillance videos stitched together the past few

weeks. you see him here as he calmly leaves the airport. he walked six miles to a nearby town. at some point, he ditches his white jacket. as you see, he keeps on his hat. he's still on the run right now. before that blast, he was last seen with two of the bombers inside the airport. and talk about rocky start to an engagement. a guy gets stuck climbing a 600-foot cliff right after he proposed. he had just scaled morrow rock in california to ask his girlfriend to marry him live on facetime. he got stuck on the way down. poor guy. a helicopter crew pulled him to safety. as for the rope cliffhanger, she said yes. those are your headlines. >> got to stick it out. >> that's when you first learn it. >> she left him hanging. >> righ >> aw. >> thank you. >> trying to be a cool guy. couldn't pull it off. bill clinton was speaking in philadelphia, campaigning for his wife, for hillary clinton, and in the middle of the speech, black lives matters individuals

continued to chant stuff at him about black lives matter. he gets so frustrated, he can't take it anymore. he says, enough is enough. here's what he said -- >> right. regarding his crime bill in 1994. >> whoa. wait a minute. wait a minute. now you're screaming. let's do another one. [ chanting ] >> whoa. whoa. wait. wait. i want to deal with them all. come on. come on. [ chanting ] >> wait. wait, wait, wait. wait. see these other signs, this is what's the matter. i don't know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them on to the street to murder other african-american children.

maybe you thought they were good citizens. she didn't. she didn't. you are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter! tell the truth! >> somebody was holding up a sign regarding his 1994 signature on the crime bill that said your bill destroyed our communities because it instilled three strikes you're out, built more prisons, and expanded life. it's interesting, after he did that, when he pivoted from his stump speech, "slate" magazine which tilts to the left, said that hillary should fire bill clinton because nobody is doing more damage to her campaign than her husband. he's been consistently flat footed and destructive when talking about hillary and the current president. and the last line is, either he doesn't want her to overtake him in the presidential legacy department, or he doesn't want her to repudiate him. regardless, hillary should shut him down. she can't divorce him, but she can fire him.

>> clinton is showing -- he's shown time and time again you can't keep him on script. in some ways, he's taking on a new left. the old left, the bill clinton left where they would at least believe in law enforcement and crime and punishment and they -- police and crime did go down, confirming the new anti-cop sentiment in black lives matter. he doesn't like it. he's confronting it. problem is, his wife is running for president. >> right. >> making nice with this group is helpful in a democratic primary. >> yeah. >> he went on to say yesterday, unlike when i became president, a lot of things are coming apart around the world now. which many people are saying is a dig at the current president, president obama. and hill was his secretary of state. >> if he says the wheels are coming off around the world the last seven years -- >> who is he blaming? his wife is secretary of state. >> meanwhile, the former secretary of state was here in new york city, the 161st street subway stop. she's trying to prove she's just like everybody else. here's hillary trying to get on the subway. she's swiping her metro card one

16 minutes ago, the vatican released pope francis' new paper called "the joy of love" that some in the church believe will polarize the catholic faithful over family issues. what's in it? joining us is raymond arroyo, managing editor of ewtn news, actually got to look at it over the last couple of days. raymond, the headlines are what? >> the headlines are that the pope is reaffirming marriage, celebrating marriage. he goes on for 235 -- 256 pages to do that. here are the big leads -- he has

said definitively after two years of debate among the world's cardinals and bishops, the pope has come out and say gay marriage cannot be equated in any way with traditional marriage. he reafirms the church's teaching that contraception is out of bounds morally. but then the real takeaway is he seems to be opening the door to the possibility of communion for divorce and remarried catholics outside of the annulment process. so you know, it's -- to give you the quick shorthand, again my distillation of 256 pages, it is go in sin no more, but check with your priest first. you might not have sinned as bad as you thought. the pope quotes himself in the footnotes, cannon lawyers in europe and the united states have pointed out at one point he quotes himself and says, sacraments should be made available to some of these people in irregular situations. he never uses the term "adultery."

he seems to be trying to change the church's approach to those who find themselves inside what the church used to call objective sin. he says, i point out that the eucharist is not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak. we'll see how it goes down. i can tell you, there's a lot of upset cannonists today. some blustery feel this will land on -- some priests who feel this will land on their lap. >> the gatekeepers. >> yeah. >> why will traditionalists be upset? isn't this to say, okay, times have changed, catholic church should change a bit? >> look, the pope clearly believes the language needs to change. this is a pastoral document. it's not changing doctrine. i would make the argument, as many cannonist ha isists have m you shift and change practice, adjust the practice of the faith, you essentially change the doctrine. look, i wrote a book called "will wilder: the relic of perilous falls." i feel as if the church is moving into a perilous situation, and i'm worried about how this plays out. the emails and texts i've been

itemize the big-ticket items, mortgage interest is a huge piece of the erquationequation, tax and charitable deductions. >> should we expect a big tax tlund ye refund this year? >> if you're getting one, that's a big mistake. ideally, you want to get right at zero, the perfect number. in other words, you don't owe money, at the same time you're also making sure that you're not having to pay a bunch. that's the anxiety that kicks in at that april 18th when you get that call from your that's person saying you owe money. >> 15% rule, what is that? >> a great way to save a lot of money in taxes. taking 15% of your paycheck, put it into tax preferred plans, 401 k. every dollar that goes into your 401(k), you're saving 30 cents in taxes. retirement's expensive. you need to make sure you have -- >> 15% is a lot. >> work up to it. there's a lot of people who

start smalling and work up to it -- smaller and work up to it. when you get a raise, take full advantage. >> take the extra money -- >> or spend it a little, have fun, but -- >> buy some new shoes. >> right. but understand, retirement's expensive. you want to make sure you have that flexibility down the road. >> what about saving for college? >> yeah. to me, the 529 plan is a great vehicle. if you got a big tax refund this year, take that money, put it into a 529 plan. a way to put money away, tax deferred, which means you don't pay tax on the growth. then you take it out tax free for college. and that's -- >> they have to use it for college. you still recommend it? >> they use it for college or any higher educational services. if you have another child and maybe one get a scholarship, you can transfer money to the other child, pass it to a grandchild. it's a great vehicle. you don't want to get stuck with them qualifying for college and you don't have the money. you take out loans to get into that scenario, or the other side is you're paying with dollars that you earn today, and they're not tax favorable like they are in the 529. the 529 is tax free for college.

>> a good idea. we've been thinking about that in our house for sure. paying property taxes, you say pay early? >> yes. that's a tip that you have to use at the end of the year. be proactive. if you had a big year, maybe you work on commission or had a big bonus and know you'll have a higher tax bracket, look to pay your property taxes early before the end of the year because you can take that deduction for the year. it's just a planning tool or planning tip that we use with a lot of clients. >> great. your last tip is team up. what do you mean? >> team up. i wrote a book, "the couples guide to financial compatibility." everybody should have one. i talk about it with people teaming up when it comes to to taxes. my wife, she loves doing the tax return. she loves going over the budget and saving the receipts and all that. >> god bless her. >> you've got to have somebody like that on your team. if you get audited and don't have somebody like that on your team, you're in big trouble -- >> file jointly? >> file jointly. you'll have more benefits by filing jointly. >> good deal. thank you very much. good to see you. say hello to your wife. i know she's a big fan of the show. >> she is a big fan. yes. >> we love her for that. thank you. coming up, this mom did not

he had the best administration ever. >> not at the cost of his own legacy. >> no. >> which you say he was a likeable president, speaking of likability, new a.p. poll shows for the most part a lot of people don't like donald trump, don't like ted cruz. is that a problem -- >> don't like hillary clinton. they don't like any of them. this is an a.p. poll yesterday. cruz -- i thought it was a very high number. 59% unfavorables among registered voters. registered voters, not certainly any one party. he's not really a nationally known figure. he's really now in the last couple of months been a national name. i thought that number was high. hillary clinton's at 55% unfavorables. that's high, and she'll probably stay around 50% through the election. but donald trump's numbers continue to get worse for him. if he cares about that. he's at 69% unfavorable. seven in ten americans saying they are not favorable. that was every category. men and women, young, old, conservative, moderate, liberal. the south, and non-college educated. the majority saying they're

after 18-year-old freshman haruka weiser was last seen alive. her death sent shock waves through the community. >> as parent this is my worst nightmare. the unimaginable brutality against haruka is an attack on the entire family. law enforcement is doing everything they can to bring the perpetrator of this heinous crime to justice. >> hundreds gathering on campus for an emotional memorial. haruka a dance student was last seen leaving the arts building around 9:30 p.m. on sunday night. she never made it to her dorm room and her roommates called police the next morning. her body was found in a creek on campus. another manhunt this one for a murderer who escaped a psychiatric facility in washington state. anthony garver is considered extremely dangerous. you can see him right here, back in 2013 with a woman he's accused of killing. cops say he cut her throat and then stabbed her more than 20 times. he bought a bus ticket to

spokane on wednesday night. he went to his parent's house before then taking off. garver and another patient, mark alexander, escaped through a loose window this week. alexander was captured after he boarded a bus and asked how to get to the airport. the pope released the long awaited document on family values. pope francis reaffirming the church's stance against contraception and says gay marriage can't be compared to traditional marriage, but he says that the church should not judge those who fail to live up to the gospels of family life. >> it is go and sin no more, check with your priest, you might not have sinned as bad as you thought. he's changing the approach to what the church used to call objective sin. >> also changes for those who have divorced and communion. talk to your priest about it. the 256 page document does not change the church's doctrine though. former president bill clinton really losing his cool with the black lives matter protesters while stumping for

do you think that's a going to help her or hurt her? >> we shall see. >> meanwhile, on the other side, you've got ted cruz who is scrambling in the race on the republican side. he's in third place behind john kasich. i think the latest poll was donald trump is at 52% in which case he would get all the delegates. >> kasich is at 35? >> 25. then ted cruz is at 17. one of the things that is really killing ted cruz is a couple of primaries ago, he was talking about well, donald trump has got new york values. and donald trump turned it around and said, look, new york values are great. ted cruz doubled down on it again yesterday with this comment. watch. >> well, you know, i think people across new york and across the country knew exactly what new york values means and those are the values of liberal democratic politicians who have been hammering this state. >> so then donald trump goes to instagram and he posted video with this response.

>> everyone understands that the values in new york city focus around money and the media. >> i saw something that no place on earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than new york. >> yeah. i mean, donald trump was in that debate was smart to turn it to 9/11. i will say this though. amongst conservatives -- i live in flyover country, i'm not from the east coast. there's a sense that new york values does mean liberal progressive values. it mines elitist, nanny state, secularism. i think that's what's ted cruz is referring to but donald trump has played it well. >> he said it in charleston, south carolina. yeah, a lot of people say i love to visit new york, i could never live there. it's a tough city, but it's part of america. we love this city. it experienced 9/11. when trying to win this state probably not the smartest thing to say. >> but ted cruz stepped in it because he said it revolves around money and media.

so when you can't get fired for not doing your job, there's no incentive to do the right thing and there's no incentive not to do the wrong thing. and that's why we're still getting these stories two years later and sadly the current leadership at the v.a. is not interested in instilling more accountability in the broken agency. >> whistle-blowers still being targeted, fraudulent employees still being protected. is there legislation on the horizon? the v.a. accountability act comes to mind. it did pass the house, so why is it stalled in the senate? >> mitch mcconnell the majority leader won't bring it up for vote and then the senate v.a. chairman committee member senate isaacson has refused as well. >> why? why would they not bring a bill up for a vote. it seems like common sense to the american people. >> what they want to do is pass an easy bill. they want to do the easy thing and senator isaacson is putting out an omni bus bus, it sounds great, but they don't fix the

problem. it will be great to talk about it on the campaign trail, but not going to fix the problem. we hope senator isaacson does the right thing and advances the v.a. accountability ability, but sadly it doesn't look like it will happen right now, pete. >> looking at this thing, generally, who's the blame for this? how can we be two years -- is it the white house, the congress, the v.a., unions? special interest groups? what's really preventing true reform from coming to the v.a., which everyone knows is needed. >> well, sadly, you named a lot of people there. the house of representatives did a great job. you had chairman miller from florida doing a great job as house v.a. chairman. you have members like democrats like out here in arizona doing the right thing. the house is doing is a good job. the senate is moving way too slowly like they normally do which is why a lot of people unfortunately are mad at the senate and congress. but you're right. you have special interests and you have people who we have concerned -- at concerned veterans for america we call them truthers. they say that the v.a. scandal is not as bad as it is made out,

stressed out and get nervous. they don't like waiting. we physicians have an obligation have to be prepared for that and not take it up on the patient. >> she had a hernia. >> exactly. i'm not sympathetic to the doctors at all. besides compassion, i think medical errors are much more likely to occur when people are being sarcastic. we want our surgeons to be in the game here. there's 200,000 deaths in the hospitals per year due to complications of surgery. that's the third leading cause of death in the united states. sarcasm no place for it. surgeons are variable in terms of how much skill they have. but in terms of cognition and focus and less errors occur if you're not making fun of the patient. >> sometimes your hands are tied. you have to go with the doctor you're given. there might be one doctor that does this surgery for her. some people said, why didn't she change doctors because there were red flags for this. she didn't have that option. >> they were making fun of her belly button, calling her

precious, a racial tinge to this. this totally inexcusable. by the way, a lot of patients want know what's going on in the operation because they might think there's a complication that occurs that they're not being told. >> right. right. >> people can be awake during anesthesia. you better watch out if you're a surgeon. we don't know more of this, we need less of this. surgeons do all kinds of different things in the o.r. some play music. that's good. some talk. it's okay to be relaxed during an operation, but do not make fun of the patient. you should not be in there. that's against the hippocratic oath. >> the red flags are when the doctors yelled at her before the surgery and put notes in her file. that's when she thought i'm going to put this in my hair. she listens to these conversations and then -- she hasn't decided whether or not there's going to be a lawsuit. >> well, i'm not going to advise her on that, but get another

put in place by the principal that does not allow any parent to walk their kids out of the school or on school property. >> why? what's the point of that? >> we have again given several different conflicting reasons. the main reason they say is safety. although as as far as i know, no child has ever been hurt. but we have actually been given quite a few different reasons. >> okay. so i want to talk about what you did as a result, but first, let me read the statement from the school because we want to be fair. we did reach out to the school. they sent us this statement. they didn't say why. i assume it is safety, but they said no parent has been arrested for wanting to pick up their child and walk home. there are a handful of parents who have chosen to walk their child home from school with the understanding that walkers are dismissed after the car rider line. so the superintendent is saying, you can come on to campus to pick up your kids, however, you have to wait until the car or

the buss have left. at my school that would have taken 30 or 45 minutes. >> it's more like an hour to go through -- for the car rider line. because it's so extensive. >> so what was your reaction? what did you do? >> i never fought the rule. i didn't like the rule. i never fought it. so we tried the car rider line, it didn't work for my two boys. they have been riding the bus, but -- we live five minutes from the school. the school gets out at 3:25 and often, they not getting home until 4:30 or 5:00. and at that point, they haven't eaton since 11:00 which is their lunch time. they're starving. there's no air conditioning on the bus, they're hot and grouchy. it just wasn't a good situation for my kids. >> what your dowing now? >> i pulled them out on monday and put them in private school. i'm now paying private school tuition for my kids and still paying my property taxes. >> how do you feel about all of this? >> it makes me sad. i love that school. i have had kids there for 16

years. and i love the staff, i love the teachers. it just makes me really, really sad to see what's happening this year. >> what's going on there with the principal? >> yes, it's a new principal that joined the staff this year. >> and what's the reaction from other parents that you have been in touch with and that you have known for all these years? >> they're sad too, but there's a lot of outrage. they have -- you know, frank young was actually cited by the police under the penal code and threatened that if he steps foot on any property he will be arrested and under the penal code that is up to six months in jail and heavy fines. >> wow. >> that's scary. >> so for parents who can't afford private schools, they're just at a loss here. they have to follow the rules. one parent, he said he did try to walk on campus. he got a trespassing warning and then he got a warning he'll get arrested if he does it again. >> yes. yes. >> wow. >> actually, quite a few

jail. it's written by ben falcone who is melissa mccontactarthy's husn real life. a very funny actor and director as well. the movie itself, melissa mccarthy is hilarious, she nails the role. the problem is that the movie struggles to find a good, consistent, funny tone to it. there's a lot of moments when the jokes do fall flat. i love peter dinklage from "game of thrones" but his character did nothing for me. i just found myself laughing at times and then really hearing crickets in the theater at times. overall it does work consistently for her character. but i gave it 2 1/2 out of 5. i will say this, it's nowhere near as good as "bridesmaid" but much better than identity thief and tammy and the heat. one of the best scenes in the film by the way, a funny moment where she wears a hilarious dental device.

i have no idea what this thing is. but she wears it in the film. you can see a video of it here. i asked her how that scene came about. it's very funny. watch this. >> was the teeth thing real? >> yes. yes. that's a real device. you know who i saw that -- i stole that -- chris henchy works on our movie. he was one of the producers and his wife, brooke shields, sent a picture of him at the dentist. it blew my mind. what's in her mouth? she's at the dentist. >> that's amazing. >> said i literally going to get that. so thank you. >> if you ever had brace, you know what that feels like. that's the worst. >> let's brace for the next review. the other movie is "demolition." >> yeah. this is a new film starring jake gyllenhaal. basically the character is struggling with the passing of his wife, his wife dies in a car crash while he's in the car. but the problem is that he doesn't miss her whatsoever. that's the issue of the -- that
