>> dana: did they do it? >> jesse: i don't know. i will get back to you tomorrow. >> kimberly: great sense of humor. >> jesse: never miss an episode of "the five." "hannity" is up next. >> sean: many thanks to our friends on "the five." welcome to "hannity." the destroy-trump-media is continuing their meltdown over president trump and now pushing a new conspiracy theory about our commander in chief. they want you to think he's crazy. media, pot, kettle? since the bias press wants to pretend to be psychology experts, we are going to beat them at their own game. we will diagnose all of lazy leftist ideologues that are suffering from trump derangement syndrome. we will continue to do the job the media should be doing and that should be telling you the truth about the trump presidency. we will get us nowhere else on cable. tonight's opening monologue.
7:01 pm
the conspiracy theorists over at the mainstream media are at it again. after failed attempts to smear president trump with russia, russia, russia, russia after claiming the president started nuclear war with north korea and after falsely painting the president, conservatives and republicans as a racist, racist tickets, the left attacks have created a fake news talking point they want to spread around in their echo chamber. members of the media elite, they know it all. media is now pretending to be experts in psychiatry and psychology. they have found a brand-new way of way to delegitimize president donald trump. they are claiming he is unhinged. he's unfit to serve. here's the council to the president kellyanne conway firing back against this media bias earlier today on fox & friends. >> is such and a third of absurd
7:02 pm
analysis. armchair psychiatrists on tv. i remember when new stations reported the news. >> sean: a kellyanne a spot on. the highlight that out-of-control bias by the leftist press, we are going to use the sound we used last night. you will hear this. [ding] >> sean: we will see how rampant this bias is. let's take a look at the press claiming that the president is unfit to serve. they all echo each other. take a look. >> your behavior is causing great concern alone among the of the american people. [ding] >> is he suffering from some kind of illness? [ding] >> is he fit for office? [ding] >> the only explanation for his narcissistic behavior would be early onset dementia.
7:03 pm
[ding] >> may be? she's not the only one saying it. some people have been saying that for months. [ding] >> is he fit for office? [ding] >> no, absolutely not. >> an astounding chain of lies tied together by a lunatic who is mentally unstable. [ding] >> that is not seen behavior. the only defensible excuse and explanation is if he is not mentally well. [ding] >> a man who suffers from a clinical form of idiocy. [ding] >> do think the president is stable? [ding] >> no. [ding] >> sean: this is the new standard on cnn, nbc. apparently they have no standards anymore. of course, the slanderous smears don't stop there. they've also claimed president trump is unhinged and again, they all echo each other. it's like they live in the same fishbowl. take a look. >> widely greeted in the media

[ding] >> it's embarrassing. >> [ding] >> little doubt about that for anyone watching. [ding] >> the president is unfit and unhinged. the media has known that for 18 months. [ding] >> what we are dealing with right now is a problematic president and an irrational president. [ding] >> he's obviously desperate. he must know at some level somewhere that he's failing miserably. [ding] >> sean: all right, now it's time for me to diagnose them. i'll put up the same degree that they have right here. there's my degree. they suffer from a bunch of overpaid, pampered, way out of touch people that have no clue what life is like for real americans. they are suffering from trump derangement syndrome.
7:05 pm
i got my degree. whatever happened to the media reporting truth and facts and being fair? what we are seeing now is beyond media malpractice. they are doing a tremendous disservice to you, the american people in the country by continue mainly spreading lies and false holds about the president and advancing their agenda. so blinded by this hatred of the president. it makes them completely, seemingly incapable. not hardly ever telling the truth. don't forget, the so-called journalists, they are supposed to be informing you about the news of the day. the same people exposed by wikileaks for doing what? colluding with hillary clinton's campaign. take a look at the side of your screen. at the beauty has been exposed again and again as being massive purveyors of phony fake news. that's why the president rightly continues to call them out almost on a daily basis. this created a massive informational crisis in this
7:06 pm
country. right now, the left has zero credibility with most people. just look at their approval ratings. the press is so fixated on going after this president and taking -- they don't care any longer about getting it right. they don't care about telling the truth. that's sad. one example, "the new york times," earlier this month, they are reporting that vice president was running a shadow campaign. and planning on running against the president in 2020. the vice president said that's absolutely false. that's one of literally hundreds of examples of fake news. instead of reporting the facts, the liberal press? they are more focused on advancing their leftist ideological extreme political agenda. they create conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. they smear the president every single chance to get now. the media? they never reported the truth about the mess that president obama left behind. they are not reporting on what this president has accomplished,
7:07 pm
what his agenda is, what his solutions are and how he is trying to fix things. they seemingly don't care about the people that should matter the most. forgotten men, forgotten women of this country who made the big difference in the selection that are suffering daily. i honestly think we are the only show that talks regularly, 50 million americans on food stamps. 13 million more under obama. 50 million americans in poverty. 8 million more after obama. 95 million americans out of the labor force. now it's down to 94 million. under obama? the lowest labor participation rates since the '70s. the lowest home ownership rate under obama and 51 years. obama doubled the national debt. i can go on all night. these are facts. the media never told you the entire election season about these things. now that president trump is in office, now the media is changing their tactics. they refused to report on this
7:08 pm
president's accomplishments. because what, it will make them look good? since members of the lazy press aren't interested in doing their job, i guess i will do it for them. here's everything. we will go through the whole list tonight, that the media will not tell you about the president's accomplishments. this is not even a full list. to emphasize, we will bring back our ding sound back. the senate confirmed neil gorsuch for supreme court. 7:12 pm
destroy him today? this hatred against the president is beyond out-of-control. it needs to stop and probably won't. i've a message for the democrats. i have a message even for weak republicans and all of these people in the mainstream media. i'm sure you all love your country, right? you want to make america great again? you, and the media? if you want to make america great and you want to help the people you claim to have a monopoly of compassion on, solve the country's problems. you got that? offer solutions occasionally on your shows. the democratic party, no, it's not the answer to anything. may be the media will stop bludgeoning the president politically with your daily lives. maybe you can start thinking about working for the american people. i'm frankly disgusted by both parties. i am disgusted with the sewer and swab known as washington, d.c. why?
7:13 pm
the american people, millions of them, the forgotten men and women in this country, i started out with pretty much nothing in my adult life -- they need help. guess what? america's enemies are really, really dangerous. just think for a moment, just imagine for one moment -- if we could just pull together as a country, just a couple of years? if the country would unite -- there's no limits to just how great and prosperous and safe and secure this country will be. joining us now, fox news contributor, mike huckabee. a little birdie told me it's your birthday. congratulations. we will talk to your daughter in just a minute here. let me get your general impression, your reaction to the monologue and where you think things are headed and what should be done. >> first of all, i thought your monologue tonight nailed so many of the accomplishments of president trump. it's just not getting out there.
7:14 pm
frankly what you just did was to give the american people an extraordinary rundown of the success of this president. i think your show as may be the only in all of media where that comprehensive list is coming forth. it ought to be posted in every federal building and everybody in america ought to be made any time they are subjected to some of these crazy networks like cnn and msnbc, they have to give equal time and read that monologue and just let people know that there's a real story. >> sean: and thoughts to his credit. he's done a lot of this without the help and support of congress. we will get to that later in the night tonight. also one other thing that the media has not done -- going back to '91 and matt lauer in '99 and 2000, denouncing intranet back renouncing, talking about evil and bigotry. the right thing to do, they just
7:15 pm
go the opposite and ignore it all. and run with the false narrative. the president pushed back. it was not the right thing to do? >> it's exactly what the president has to do. they are giving him attention for pushing back and two things result from that. she is reminded of the 50 million americans devoted for him that he is still on track and he knows what he was elected. the second thing, he's not rolling over for these guys. he shouldn't. the level of derangement we now see in the media, where they have lost any sense whatsoever of journalists and integrity? they are not journalists. they are commentators. >> sean: they are ideologues. >> they are deranged ideologues. >> sean: i agree. maybe they ought to do a little self introspection and analysis. there are a few off the rails. we know who they are. we know the stories but i won't name names at this point.
7:16 pm
i was talking to somebody today. a person that was sort of a number trumper. republican. he's not going to conform into who you want them to be. he's not. look at his agenda. to support the agenda? he's not going to be the person you want. he's not going to fit into the little box he want him to fit in. he's his own person. i thought we kind of liked individualism. but apparently not if you or donald trump. >> donald trump defeated 16 different people on the stage. all of whom probably were a little more predictable than donald trump. >> sean: a little? >> he's disruptive, unconventional. he is a disruptive and unconventional president and thank god he is. we are living in an unconventional time in which i am not sure a conventional political figure could cut through the noise. i know it's driving a media

7:18 pm
chancellor. by the way, he deserves the respect of his own party and the respect of his own members of congress the democrats. he deserves the respect of the media. remember this, sean. you nail it every night. when they try to say that donald trump 'approval ratings are low, i hope they know that their approval ratings, both the media and congress, they are lower than cockroaches and venereal disease. the media and our congress comes to work with everyday. >> sean: great perspective, governor. there's going to be another huckabee on in a second. when we come back, i stayed all the time -- it's the hardest job in washington. maybe in the country. sarah huckabee sanders will join us. later tonight, the original insurgent, pat buchanan. is this the final three months

jobs have been created since he took office. there's a reason that the unemployment is at a 16 year low. there's a reason that the stock market is at a halt all time high. he's very committed to economic growth and job creation and he will continue to do that. >> sean: that was sarah huckabee sanders. during a white house press briefing. listing a few of the economic accomplishments of the president. she is the hardest job in the country. earlier tonight we had a chance to speak with her. of course on her father's birthday. sarah sanders, now, i just had your dad on. you wished him a happy birthday today. good thing you did. he would have been pretty angry. you know, i went through this today too. i didn't even know you were going to address it. i'm preparing the chauffeur today. i just was like nobody ever talks about his accomplishments and things he does, what he's done on his own. you guys got to get your act together, republicans.
