jillian: joining us is hans, thanks for joining us. what was your stand up moment yesterday? >> i was shocked, sally yates said james comey a goner rogue but not rogue in conducting an investigation of michael flynn when there was no evidence of any kind that he had broken the law. she was upset that he hadn't coordinated, conducting an unjustified investigation of michael flynn. that this is shocking to me, such a lack of judgment, the top official at the justice department. >> interesting to hear all the stuff. they made a big deal about flynn

is disincentive isis some people from going back to work and we have seen that, we are not talking unemployment insurance but the additional $600 benefit. the other side says we wants to take away unemployment, that's not the case but what that $600 benefit has done is incentivize some people to stay home because they make more money by not working and it is crazy the government is competing with private industry and businesses in my district are sick of it, we haven't been able to get employees to come back to work because it makes no sense for them if they make more money sitting at home now that benefits have expired. many of those employers have said they had no issues with employees coming back to work. todd: business owners say once the 600 is gone it will be easy to get my people back. when you say businesses in your

district what businesses are you talking about that are struggling to come back because of this? >> mostly small businesses, they were not higher wage earners, these are people who have struggled because they've been unable to convince their own workers to come back, warehouse or large company or local salon. i talked to a nail salon owner who couldn't get her people to come back to work. it is all aspects of business large and small and we've got to stop competing with private industry. the government should not be in the business of encouraging people not to work and that is a problem we've got to balance between that and people who are legitimately unemployed that once to work about their businesses have been shutdown. we got to encourage businesses to get back in business and encouraging people to stay home is not the answer. >> let's talk about male in

voting, the president is blasting it, chuck schumer and nancy pelosi met with the postmaster general and listen to what they have to say. >> the speaker mentions with the head of the postal service, heated discussion, all ballots have to be counted. we are demanding the regulations be rescinded. >> you will never know who won the election. it is a catastrophe waiting to happen. jillian: is it a catastrophe went to happen? >> it is. look at the recent new york primary said in many cases the races weren't decided for many weeks after ballots turned up missing. one thing chuck sure was right about is all ballots must be counted. they should be counted but if we are depending on the united states postal service to get them counted when packages can't even get delivered, we are in a

heap of trouble and if that is something we want, to rely on the united states postal service to help run our elections, we need to start talking about that 3 months before election day, that is something that would take years, to turn the postal service around and have a process people believed in. if you look at places like new york and california where election results are announced, it takes two weeks to harvest ballots that is not right. and application process like we have in texas for seniors and the military requires people to actually fill out an application, signatures are verify, make sure the ballots belong to the people they say they are coming from and other states, totally insane the way things have been done. rob: it will be an interesting november. we appreciate it. jillian: a nurse on the front line takes on teachers calling on them to, quote, do their jobs and get back in the classroom. >> is she right? doctor siegel coming up next.

such an essential profession, no reason to say it is less important than patient care. i'm talking about this as someone who myself returns to the front lines taking care of patients in a similar situation. i'm not currently on the board taking care of covid-19 patients the patients that come to see me i wear a shield and a mass, they may be covid-19 positive. it is possible and i'm happy to do it because it makes me feel vital in doing something important. maybe not all teachers should be forced to do this, not forced but compelled to do it, depend on the area they are in but i all for this. jillian: teachers age, health conditions all go into account. let's look at this clip from the article reading, quote, my husband, playing devils advocate said healthcare workers sort of signed up for this kind of risk

that teachers did not and she says i replied absolutely not. doctors and nurses sign up for work that is sometimes high risk for us and sometimes life or death for our patients, not for us. do you agree with that? every doctor and nurse i talked to throughout this pandemic said this is why i do this, to help people. >> exactly. it is why i sign up for this, to help people, same with teachers. teachers the same issue applies with controlling the environment. in a classroom what happens if you have a child but gets really upset and goes out of control, you may feel threatened by that. it is your job to be there and control it. i want us to test our teachers. this is a wake-up call to test entire schools. i believe it is a learning experience for children to learn about physical distancing. we can teach help ideas to our

children across the area in different areas. some controversy has come up in georgia which is an emerging hotspot. we have to look at it case by case but across the country the vast majority will have a low incident of covid-19, children don't get severe cases and teachers are young too. most of them are not in my high risk group. jillian: some of them are in the president has come out yesterday saying teachers of certain age group shouldn't be going in, your shaking your head yes but you agree with that. >> completely agree and that is what we need to know. what is your underlying health condition, are you overweight, do you have diabetes, high blood pressure, how old are you? we talked about that with physicians with new york be a hotspot. i pointed out one physician in his 60s, overweight, chose to go on the front lines to fight covid-19. teachers should be given the same right possibility.
