based on some of the video i saw online last night, some of those tanks on the east side are getting within 16 miles to the east and north of the contrary. the other big story here in the south, you are showing that video moment to go about this maternity hospital that was bombed. it was a devastating video, tucker. that was in mary a pole. they've been under siege for the past seven days. who's to say what is left of that tone. 200,000 they say want to get out of there, and they can't. in the west, uc odessa has not been touched. as a reason for that possibly. and that is because -- right now, about 80 miles to the east, taken fire by the ukrainian army. they are holding them off so far, but we will see at some point whether or not putin's army can advance. that is the state of play, tucker, on day 14 tonight. >> tucker: great to see you tonight. stay tuned for that.

everyone you see on tv has exactly the same opinion. if ukraine is after the same opinion of everything, those opinions are formed on twitter which you probably don't use since you don't work in journalism, thank god. but then they are repeated to the public who are expected to assume those opinions as well. thinking for yourself is no longer allowed. it is interesting to talk to people who are outside of that closed information loop. a rational, clearheaded people whose priorities are their family in the country. and that is why last night we spoke to a man called brace mitchell. he's a cattle farmer and usa fighter. he articulated why a lot of people in this country have no interest in fighting a war against russia over ukraine. here is part of what he said. people who say what you have said are often denounced as unpatriotic or traitors to their country. does that confuse you? the first thing you said is, i will fight and die for arkansas.
5:48 pm
>> that would be the greatest honor i could ever have come a brother. i'm far from not being a patriot. i would be the greatest thing i could do is die defending this land freedom not afraid to do that. i'm just not wanting to go waste my life i did and for some bit of these battles that i don't even believe in. >> tucker: brace mitchell is not a coward. we can establish that right there. second, he said very clearly he would be happy to die. it would be an honor he said, to die for the people and country that he loves. he does not want to die in a war with a nuclear power over an obscure country in eastern europe you can find on a map. that is his pretty simple principle. not just on this country, but in every other country. you sent people to war when your real interests are threatened. but in washington, that idea is heresy. these are the people who are about to spend another $15 billion in american tax money not on texas, not on
5:49 pm
fixing homelessness, not on helping the families whose children who have died a foot retinal overdoses because of the open border that we have, but they are going to send to defense contractors to defend a country's border on the other side of the world. people like the man you just saw are a huge threat to the tiny minded members of congress like adam kinzinger who are doing things that do not serve this country in any way. he was completely triggered by that interview and he went on twitter and wrote this. "oh, my lord, this is america. by the way, i will fight when the war comes to arkansas. the world war ii generation would love to slap him, i'm sure." this is a new way to support potent without being so obvious. he continued, side note, please just stay here and entertain. no one is asking you to fight for their country. there's far braver men and women who will do that. really, where are these men and
5:50 pm
women who are far braver than the men we interviewed last night? we would love to know. adam kinzinger is always invited on the show. any time. we will give him the hour. mr. tough guy. ilhan omar is the sitting member of congress representing minnesota beard she's only been there a short time. she is very angry at the united states. but there's hope for the people of minnesota, the former nba player called royce white is running against ilhan omar. royce white joins us now. mr. white, thank you so much for coming on tonight. haven't talk to you before, excited to do it. why are you running against ilhan omar? >> i will cut straight to the jays. this country is in a crisis. the only way we can save it is through restoring our faith in god and national honor. we have to do it through american constitutional values.
5:51 pm
freedom being the cornerstone. freedom being the cornerstone and we can see that there is an attack on our freedoms. we also have to do it through truth. the truth is that the global effects the local. the global effects the local. minnesota is my home. my family has been here for five generations but i was born and raised here. i will a deep affection for the state of minnesota, the twin cities, my community, in this country. the reality is that we've been lied to. we've been misrepresented, we've been misled by the democrats, by the liberal establishment, by the unit party that sold us on this fantasy of globalism, which is just another way to attack the american working class. listen, all i can say is that she has an all night. she sold us out. our leadership has sold us out. >> tucker: she is in on it. so when she and the rest of her friends came into congress, they posed as radicals. but within about 10 minutes they were flocking for google and nancy pelosi. they are part of the system.
5:52 pm
in fact, some of the people who were on the system it seems like. is that your impression? >> the telltale sign for me as -- congress is supposed to regulate the fed. the congress is supposed to balance this budget. these people have either been too cowardly or too corrupt to do so. everybody knows or should know that wall street is running the fed and the fed is regulating the congress. we are living in the united states of the federal reserve. and i hear ilhan omar and these people talk about progressive policies, but when push comes to shove, they will sell us out. to confirm a history where i thought the establishment around mental health policy and around this idea that there is a global corporate community and there's something very wrong with this global corporate community. i got an offer to sell out. i got an offer to shut my mouth and go along with the get along, and i couldn't take a bit i would never accept an offer to sell us out. i can't see the same for ilhan omar and many of these politicians. >> tucker: that is not a
5:53 pm
typical campaign pitch. that is really interesting. i appreciate you telling us that tonight. we will be watching. thank you. lots going on in ukraine, obviously. we are trying to bring you some of it. but in the middle of that, it's important to think through what is happening there will affects us here. dan holloway served in iraq, left a lot of himself there, and we had a long conversation with him about that question. what will this war mean for america? we will bring some of that to you, next.
5:58 pm
speed on what's happening in ukraine is complicated and we are looking for wise voices. we spoke to down holloway, an iraq war veteran. he told us it's important to put america's interest first as we assess ukraine. here is part of he said. ♪ ♪ >> we never know how these things are going to turn out.
5:59 pm
but we can make educated decisions and nobody with any kind of education of foreign policy chops, which by the way it was the number one reason biden gave for electing him to office. that was the number one -- i've got the form. i've been doing this for a long time. he is completely filled on all of this. he gave the biggest bully we had bullet we had over to vladimir putin. and you're up at the same thing. what did they expect was going to happen? he's the architect of all the stuff we are seeing right now. and now they are on parade trying to blame everybody else for their problems. if you disagree, you are a russian agent. it's nonsense, right? this is like classical psychological operations. and we are just living through it. >> tucker: dan holloway, the whole interview is on fox nation. we are out of time tonight. we are grateful that you tuned in. we will be back tomorrow and
6:00 pm
every and every weeknight to assess really a world in distress. have a wonderful evening with the ones you love. we are going to turn you over now to sean hannity. here he is. >> sean: welcome to "hannity." we begin tonight with a another fox news alert. tonight is russia's forces become stalled across ukraine, becomes tactics are becoming more and more barbaric. vladimir is embarrassed on the world stage. he feels like he is losing and now it is clear he has attempted to unleash on the ukrainian people. things will likely get dramatically worse for the people of ukraine very quickly. today he reportedly targeted, you got it, a maternity on children's hospital with an air strike. only a soulless psychotic power-hungry maniac would be able to do this.
