education. >> i see access as a problem. i see parents being able to direct their child's education and they are ready in the lower 25 percentile, meaning a lot of those parents did not finish high school cannot direct their -- could not finish their own education i am extremely concerned that entire piece of life to parents who are not qualified to make those decisions and they don't have the money to put in the difference that their child would need to attend a private school if there were one in their -- already in their region. >> steve: so she is saying that parents can't make decisions for their own children. well, that's because they didn't finish high school. if that's the case, the schools failed their parents. this is generational. we have seen it for a while what they were talking about the georgia house education committee passed out of

committee yesterday the georgia promise scholarship act. and what that will do is give $6,000 scholarship to students in the worst performing schools. she actually sent her children to private school. >> katie: of course. >> steve: naturally. these scholarships and we are seeing them growing across the country, they would be targeted to kids in the worst schools. what she is saying, you know, a lot of these kids their parents didn't finish high school either. >> brian: they can't make a choice. >> steve: nanny state. >> katie: this democratic attitude towards locking children in failing schools is why the school choice movement is rolling through state legislatures all across the country. governors signing legislation allow parents whether they congratulated from high school or not decide where their kids go to school. what she is saying there children of parents who weren't able to get an education because of the same schools are not entitled to their own education. this is america, and despite where you come from or who your parents are, you have the ability to succeed and, yet,

democrats like her in states across the country are trying to prevent that from happening while being really bigoted towards certain classes of people in this country. >> brian: even if you graduate high school or get a g.e.d. or you don't graduate high school, it doesn't mean you don't have great judgment. doesn't mean you are not fantastic parents. doesn't mean you can't look at two schools. look at their grad point average and say do your own research and decide where your kid belongs. doesn't mean you have to be perfect in everything in order to make judgments on your children because if you have to be an expert in every aspect of your kid's life to make a decision, you will be making very few decisions. >> steve: i would hope she is not saying hey, those parents didn't graduate high school, so we didn't have the chance to indoctrinate them so they would know how to think because then they would be on our side regarding this. it's a puzzling thing that's why we had to bring it to you on this tuesday morning. it is 6:20 now here in the east. and ashley joins us once again with headlines from around the

not willing to do that, then you should pack up your tent and go home. the problem that the biden administration has, brian, is that they are half in, half out on ukraine thing there. dumping a lot of guns and money into the situation but not doing what is necessary to give ukrainians enough to win. i think that's what putin and xi are hoping for is to drag the united states into a situation where they are just supplying ukraine enough for a time. i think they think that time is on their side not on ukraine side and i think they might be right about that. >> brian: as you play this out. republicans are squeezy about this relationship and one not feeling great about following joe biden into any foreign policy, any of his foreign policy instincts to slow-walk them is going to challenge him politically at home. this is the spring to win. the summer for clearly to take land back. if not, it's going to be a tough road to ho in 223, 24, don't you agree. things will change for the worse if they don't show major progress. >> only thing once $100 billion
