jackson said from the very start, i remember the day he died they were saying only a matter of time in their minds before something like this was to happen. now it's become very clear why they were saying what they were saying. but when you hear in such graphic detail the number of drugs jackson was administered, valium, ativan, versed, propofol and then you hear the time line, it really is quite shocking even though people saw this coming. >> absolutely. you know, a.j., an issue that keeps coming up that viewers keep going back and forth about debating, arguing with each other on my facebook page, people keep wanting to put some of the blame on michael jackson himself, especially now that they know how many drugs were involved. >> yeah. >> i have parents in the medical field, so i know kind of how i feel on that. how do you feel about that? >> well, i have to tell you it goes both ways. we'll be debating it tonight on "showbiz tonight." clearly michael jackson had a problem, so a lot of people are wondering does the blame fall squarely on him, on the people
2:20 pm
who enabled michael jackson or both? you look at the new reports that are coming out, there were a lot of different prescriptions from many different doctors, and the problem is, as you know, rir richelle, an addict will figure out a way to get what they want. it's easy to surmise even if michael jackson wasn't getting the propofol from dr. murray, he would have been getting it from somebody else. if a doctor is ultimately responsible for what's in the best interests of a person under his or her care, it's hard to believe that using an anesthetic as a sleep aid is in anybody's best interest. that's the one thing i can say for certain. >> yeah. there's a lot to talk about here, a.j. a lot. >> yeah. so tonight we'll be getting into this debate with the blame game and we'll be defending dr. murray. is a homicide case against jackson's personal doctor really a slam dunk here or is the doctor just a scapegoat for a story that really is so much more deep than meets the eye? the very latest on the michael jackson death mystery tonight. we'll see you back here 11:00 p.m. eastern and pacific for

[ bleep ]. >> okay. back off, everybody. you just saw what happened when a florida news crew tried to ask a grandmother if her 15-year-old granddaughter was working at a strip club. you could see she went after the photographer with that garden hose. she hit the camera. police say the girl and another 17-year-old worked at that strip club for months. the club says the girl claimed to be 18 and that they were not dancers. they worked in swimsuits. they were not topless. when you post on facebook or send a tweet, you're pretty much assuming someone care what is you're thinking. is all that self-promotion creating a generation of narcissists. what you're saying about social networking and all its repercussions.

report dr. conrad murray told police he had been treating michael jackson for insomnia for about six weeks. this document says he gave jackson the sedative propofol also known as diprivan. he gave it to him using an iv to help him sleep. this is anesthesia. the combination of that plus at least two other sedatives found in jackson's system reportedly led the coroner to rule his death a homicide. >> it means legally taking the life of another. it means michael jackson did not die of natural causes. it means he was not a suicide. it means the government has concluded that someone else killed him. there are a wide variety of charges within homicide. intentional homicide, you can get the death penalty for. negligent homicide is a much less serious crime. it's an unintentional, negligent killing. certainly he seems to be in that end of the spectrum. no one seems to suggest that conrad murray intentionally

killed michael jackson. >> murray told investigators he'd been trying to wean jackson off all this propofol. he said he actually lowered the dosage and used two other sedatives two days before jackson died, but the morning of michael jackson's death murray told police he gave into jackson's demands and went ahead and gave him propofol. the jackson family attorney says this report reaffirms a tragic and gross violation of duty and care for the singer. jackson family publicist says the family looks forward to the day justice can be served. so tonight on "showbiz tonight," is a homicide case against jackson's personal doctor really a slam dunk? or is conrad murray just a scapegoat for a story even deeper than meets the eye. the very latest in the michael jackson death mystery tonight on tv's most provocative entertainment news story at 11:00 p.m.
