we'll have a live report from pasadena and hear from the hawkeyes. deborah: for some the n year means a new beginning...and for one siouxland family it's the start of a new family chapter. you're looking at little stephen cornish...who was delivered at unity-pointe health st. luke's hospital. he is the first baby born on new years day... in sioux city. amanda cornish and nicholis ardnt welcomed their new baby boy, stephen, inte e world at 8:47 this morning. amanda was in labor since wednesday evening...and says she's tired but happy that she's able to starthe new year with her bundle of joy. "at first around christmas time i didn't want him sharing a birthday with any other date but i like it," said amanda cornish. deborah: baby stephen weighed 6

" swimming is a great opportunity for families to get active and spend time together over this holiday break. with this being our busiest day of the year we want to make it a fun and a safe experience for the kids, their families and our staff." deborah: the "y" had activities for the

the community a chance to get a taste of what the facility has to offer. deborah: now moving to the campaign trail.. hillary clinton will be starting her new year off in iowa...and she's planning a stop right here in sioux city clinton will be bringing her "river-to-river in iowa tour"...to sioux city tuesday january 5th. clinton has stops scheduled in council bluffs and osage. the democratic frontrunner is also celebrating a campaign milestste...of raising close to 112 million dollars. clinton wont be the only democratic presidential hopeful in sioux city that week. former maryland governor martin o'malley will be making a stop at the mary treglia house on january third. that's on jennings street....the event begins at 11:45 a-m. o'malley's campaign has struggled to gain momemtum in the race....he struggled to g gn momemtum in n e race....he continues to poll in the single digits. deborah: they're the leftovers of the holiday - and no i'm not talking about food. i mean...christmas

nabbed after he met with a confidential source for the justice department. he's been charged with trying to provide material support to i-s-i-s. deborah the wife of actor..and comedian bill cosby has been ordered to give a deposition in a defamation suit against her husband. a massachusetts court rejected a motion by camille cosby to cancece the deposition order. she is scheduleded testify next week. the defamation case involves seven women who have accused bill cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them. they say the 78- year-old comic portrayed them as liars after they went public with their allegations. bill cosby is also facing felony sexual assault charges in pennsylvania over an alleged incident that happened in 2004. the comedian has denied any wrongdoing. deborah iconic r&b star natalie cole has died at the age of 65. the grammy winner and daughter of the legendary nat king cole reportedly died in a los angeles hospital late
