with the united states. the u-s government said the swap is the result of more than a year of top secret negotiations. washington post journalist jason rezai-an is among those freed...along with three others. a senior administration official said in return... the u-s is dropping charges against seven iranians....convict ed of sanction violations. some of the 20-16 presidential candidates are speaking out about the prisoner release. and some gop contenders are speaking out about the iranian hostage swap. marco rubio expressed his opinions on the deal today...while stumping in iowa... at a town hall meeting in johnston..the presidential hopeful says the prisoners should have never been captured. toxic levels of lead was dicovered in drinking water. this move by president obama gives fema...and the department of homeland security...permissi on to coordinate all relief efforts for the state. earlier this week, michigan governor rick snyder asked the white house for help. according to snyder, flint and the surrounding areas are affected by the poisonous water. the problems began two years ago, when the financially troubled city....began drawing water from the flint river to save money. deborah actor sean penn is now opening up about his controversial interview with mexican druglord 'el chapo'. penn says he was hoping for a different outcome. instead of boasting about possibly..helping bring down one of the world's most wanted fugitives.... penn was adamant that his meeting...was not what lead to el chapo's capture. penn calls that assertion from mexican officials a myth.... saying they met with him many weeks earlier... and were no-where near the area he was captured. for the last 15- years. reporter andrew spencer has the details. " the average age of women having their first child has risen to 26. that's the word from the centers from disease control and prevention. back in 2000, it was just under 25- years-old... by 20-14... it had risen to 26. researchers say this is partly because there are fewer mothers under the e of 20. in fact, the teen rth rate has hit an all-time low. economic factors also play a roro... with an increased numbererf women putting off motherhood for higher education or a career. this also has ramifications for the u-s population. having children later in life means fewer child-bearing years, and therefore, fewer children. one area of concern, doctors say older women having children increases a mothers risk of complications... like gestational diabetes, and passing on genetic defects. for today's health minute, i'm andrew spencer." alex: 2 line name super alex walker awalker@kcautv. com alex iowa state is 1-3 in big 12 play for the first time since the 2010-2011 season.
