"we export all of our ethanol all over the world...so what's been a bigger impact on us this year has been the strength of a dollar. so we export we export to strengthen the dollar," said meyers. lowered gas prices have affececd sioux city's budget. the city's finance director makes yearly plans to adhere to the slumping prices. "well last year at this time when we were doing budgets for the year we're in, we knew prices were trending downward and so we did make an adjustment at the very last minute as a part of our budget toreduce ouroverall budget by over $500,000 for anticipated lower prices," said forker. the city is not only responsible for filling up the tanks of city vehicles, but.... abc 9 news. tim: an outbreak of mumps starting back in july of last year appears to have spread to plymouth county. the firsrs confirmed cases of the virus originated at the univerist of iowa. according to school officials between the months of july and vovember more than a hundred students tested positive for the virus. now the virus is popping up in plymouth county where several cases have detected abc9 reporter deborah souverain will have an update tonight at tim: south sioux city police are celebrating the 42 year career of their police chief . south sioux police chief scot ford, who first donned the badge january 22 1974, was greeted by over a
