patrons' throats that was at the bar. >> reporter: a passerby almost had an interaction with that suspect seconds before. >> i could tell he was looking for something or -- he was on a mission >> reporter: other bar managers in the area think they've seen the suspect before. they described him as rude and out of place around lowell square. >> he's been seen around the neighborhood. and a couple of my bartender had seen him before. we don't know much about him >> reporter: dpd says they're looking 250 to 300 pounds wearing a green shirt and khaki shorts. >> they told me there was no arteries hit. so that's the best news they could give me. he was pretty badly injured from what i know from my staff's account. >> reporter: the victim is a well known customer. the owner has plans to put together some kind of event to hopefully raise

anyone with information on a suspect is urged to call dpd. we do have new information about the afternoon's shooting involving aurora police officers. they were looking for michael smith who is a convicted kidnapper who allegedly violated his parole. officers found him at montview and say he pulled a gun. one officer fired at smith but didn't hit him. eventually they tazed him and took him back into custody. a robbery suspect involved in a shootout with police yet. sean scott appeared in court this morning surrounded by armed guards. he is charged with attempted murder for the incident yesterday. she expected in -- he is expected in at least five bank robberies. dead ducks at a popular park in aurora. neighbors called us if they weren't get
