knick is on the campus to explain this. janet napolitano says it is necessary to raise student tuition in order to close a $125 million budget gap. she says she wanted to make sure she is upfront with the constitutes so there are no surprises. this is we are talking about president napolitano will present the proposal to the board. in september they discussed $125348 budget shortfall and the hike she says is necessary to fulfill the goal of making tuition hikes a predictable part of budget so families and campuses will though what to expect. under the proposal, the average cost of the education for a california resident would increase to $12,800 for 2015 and grow to $15,500 in the fall of 2019 with tuition frozen for the
