has wins across the country, but the end of the road for marco rubio. >> and it is a dominant night for hillary clinton. the former secretary of state has scored big wins in four states. i'm dan ashley. >> and i'm ama daetz. we want to begin with the democrats. right now one state is too close to call, missouri. with 100% of the precincts reporting hillary clinton lead sander 49.6 to 49.4%. that's a difference of 1500 votes. overall it has been a very good night for clinton. the former secretary of state scored big wins in florida, ohio and illinois. >> on the gop side missouri is too close to call. donald donald trump is is leading but with a difference of 1700 votes. trump has secured victories though in florida, illinois and north carolina. but ohio governor john kasich held off the businessman in his home state of ohio with

no one was hurt, thank goodness. there have been eight shootings since november. police think they are gang-related though innocent people have been injured. tonight we are hearing from a woman who was kidnapped during a carjacking in san jose. she spoke only with abc7 news. the suspect in the case stole a van last night belonging to the housecleaning services. now at the time a worker was in the backseat. at first she thought it was the driver, and then things suddenly got dangerous. >> he was speeding really, really fast and hitting cars and i said wait, wait, i need to get out of here. >> the suspect crashed and was held down by a co-worker's son who chased the have been as well as the city councilman who was at a neighborhood

meeting nearby when he heard the crash. in palo alto the search is on for a man who exposed himself to a young girl. here is a skep of the man police are on the hunt for right now. lisa amin gulezian joins us live from middle field road with the new details. lisa? >> reporter: ama, it happened while it was still light outside. the girl was walking her dogs down the street behind me when she says this man walked up to her, smiled and then flashed her. >> we do feel safe here. >> those who live on melville avenue was shocked on monday before sunset. a 13-year-old girl was walking her two dogs when she said this man stopped to pet her dogs. >> as he stood up he lifted his sweatshirt and exposed himself to her. >> the victim quickly walked home as the man followed her for a block. then he walked to the park across the street.

detectives scoured the nearby park, elementary school, zoo and museum and found nothing. >> we are absolutely concerned about it. it is simply not behavior that we want to have in our city or anywhere else. it is really completely inappropriate. >> police hope someone will spot this man and call them. they are worried he could escalate. abc7 news. >> a big pay day is coming for a homeless man. today the orange county board of supervisors voted to give matthew hay chapman a $100,000 reward. abc7 news talked with him in february shortly after he spotted the two jail escapees in a white van. >> i noticed people were sleeping in it because the windows were all steamed up because of the heavy, heavy con condensation.

abc7 news reporter cornell bernard is live at the bay bridge toll plaza. cornell? >> ama, a new list is out that says the bay area is number three in the nation when it comes to congested roads and terrible commute. l.a. is number one. washington, d.c. is number two. take a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. it is mentioned as a tough location for a morning commute. and there are many more. a lot of us are going no where fast. slowly inching along in traffic. >> how would you describe it? >> exhausting. >> they go by carpool on monday through friday. >> the traffic is bad. even in carpool it takes me two hours to get home. >> a new study shows that the bay area commuter spend a whooping 75 hours in traffic in 2015 and one of the worst commutes is highway 101 in san francisco from hospital

jaycee dugard. she says she was not protected from her captor. he went to prison after a rape in nevada. dugard says parole should have been revoked before he captured her and raped her at his home in antioch. the court ruled the government had no way of knowing he would make dugard his victim. obama could announce his pick tomorrow. both men served on the u.s. court of appeals in washington, d.c. gar land is the chief judge. he was nominated in 2013. the bay area could soon be getting its third ikea discoer. the retailer announced a new store in dublin. if approved by the city it would be built by 580 and hacienda drive. ikea's other stores are in emeryville and east palo alto. >> it is another nice day.

>> spring is not here for a few more days, but it kind of already is. >> dan and ama, it will feel like spring has arrived early especially when you see the 70s showing up tomorrow on live doppler 7hd. the temperatures did come up a few degrees this afternoon. we will keep that trend going. right now the numbers are in the 40s and 50s. a live look from the east bay hills camera looking across the bay and the visibility is just fantastic right now. warmer for your wednesday and thursday. spring begins on saturday night and rain arrives late sunday going into monday. before we get to the rain we'll get to the warmth. look at the temperature trend for livermore. the average high for this time of year is in the mid60s for livermore. but by thursday you will be a good 10 degrees above normal. not expecting records. record are pretty high. early next week you will notice the temperatures really dropping as the rain comes in. from our abc7 news exploratorium camera, you can see the financial district and

all of the tree pollen is not looking so good if you suffer from allergies. it is going to run high the next few days. oak and pine will be the main culprits. hopefully the rain coming on later this week will wash some of the pollen away. one is light and five is severe. the system coming sunday into monday. heavy rains with the system. sunday night into monday morning commute at 5:00 a.m. you notice it is pretty wet. as we head toward monday afternoon the rain will switch to showers and then it winds down. one computer model wants to hang on to the possibility of a few showers on tuesday, but the other computer model is dry. as far as rainfall totals expecting about .45 in the north bay to .12 in the south bay. higher totals will be in the wettest locations. first thing tomorrow morning
