live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> now 5911:00, 330,000 cash registers breached by hackers. a peninsula high-tech giant is at the center of this international cybercrime. i'm ama daetz. >> and i'm dan ashley. >> the cash registers are found around the world. >> katie is live at headquarters in redwood shores with the story. katie? >> reporter: ama and dan, they gave me the letter that they sent to customers who used the microsystem. it advise those businesses to change their pass words. try 30 -- try 30 cash registers were compromised. it was a cybercrime group hacked oracle targeting the

microdivision used by restaurants, hotels and retailers. >> think of it as a gateway that the hacker from the main hub and from the main hub to the individual stores. >> he is an official professor and an expert in cybercrime. >> they know they are smart. they know there is a data breech. they will be checking their cards tonight and the next couple days. >> the stolen information could be sold a year from now. ran tea owns sushi confidential. he is constantly worried about hacking. >> he may not know what restaurants are using that software. i think it could affect a lot of people that may not have been affected in the past. oracle admits the code was found in the software and payment card data is encrypted at rest and in transit in the micro hosted environment.

up to a third are thrown out before trial and of the cases that do go to trial result in a not guilty verdict. abc7 news. >> delta airlines has canceled at least a hundred flights for tomorrow and at least 200 delayed. this follows the computer glitch that forced delta to cancel the flights worldwide delta blames an electrical outage in atlanta. >> i tried to call delta and they said there was a three-hour hold. >> i find it hard to believe that one outage in one spot in atlanta can shutdown their entire worldwide network. >> delta says you won't be charged a change fee if you rebook on another flight this week.

livermore. it is a murky view as we look across the bay. patchy morning drizzle and it is getting hot as we turn things up a little bit. temperatures first thing in the morning low to upper 50s we will have the fog around, but it is not going to be widespread it can't get over to the east bay hills. you will notice a little drizzle here -- near the coast. around the bay you will see fog as well and then as we head into the afternoon we will notice changes. at 10:00 a.m. the fog is lippingerring from the san mateo to the santa cruz county coast and then we go into the afternoon and it is a sunny one for most areas for your tuesday. low 60s to the low 90s. a warm day in the south bay around morgan hill. say the 1 in san jose and 77 in sunnyvale and on the peninsula, 73 in san mateo.

76 in redwood city and 78 mountain view. downtown san francisco 69 daley city and you will see the 60s at the beaches, but 90s around ukiah, lake port, cloverdale. 88 santa rosa and 85 napa and 81 in san rafael in the east bay and 74 oakland and 76 hayward. a nice mild one. inland will be warm and concord at 90 degrees along with livermore and 87 san ramon. 91 in fairfield and 92 in antioch. if you are going to the a's game, you are looking at the sun going down at 8:08. before the sunsets it is comfortable at 65 degrees. once the sun goes down it will drop down to 60. a little fog will roll in so take a sweatshirt. we will show you the temperature range. low 60s to low 90s for your tuesday. a slight dip on wednesday. and then the temperatures come back for thursday. we will notice it heats up.
