headlock and knocked him off the wheelchair, if you can believe that and stole his digital camera. the suspect wappeared to be 20 5 201515 and 18 years of age. a man rammed his ex-girlfriend's car while she had the child inside. the car was seriously damaged. it happened this afternoon. both the ex-girlfriend and child were treated at the hospital. 23-year-old joshua dillard was arrested for attempted murder. prosecutors in the murder case against lopez sanchez say it won't start until next year. he is charged with the murder of kate stelast summer and he says found the gun on the pier. he had been deported five times. candidate donald trump has used

voters suspend daylight savings time and passed the appropriations committee. if it passes and the legislature and governor brown signs it, the choice would be left up to voters on the 2018 ballot. we shall see. a bill banning the use of bull hooks to control elephants passed the state today. the long metal devices are used by some circuses to train, control and punish elephants. advocates they they hurt the elephants. the zoo was one of the bill's key sponsors. island foxes have recovered from the brink of extension. today, wildlife officials removed three fox species from that endangered list. they were nearly wiped out by golden eagles 16 years ago. in 2000 there were around 80 x foxes on the channel island. today, there are around 2800 living on the island. scientists say this is the fastest recovery of any mammal

on the endangered species list. firefighters rescued a baby horse that wandered into a neighborhood yesterday evening. the animal was scared, dehydrated and weak. firefighters called for help from animal control. when they weren't available, a local equine rescue agency sh showed up to help. the baby horse went missing or got lost on crow creek road in castro valley, not too far from the fire station that responded to the incident. the rescued horse was taken to a hayward ranch. we know sunscreen is important obviously but a lot of people don't like using it. >> partnering up with "consumer reports" for other reasons. >> do you use it everyday? >> not so much. >> a recent survey, my consumer report found half of americans don't use sunscreen at all. 1 out of 5 says it's because of
