factor in the rain shadow effect as the moisture gets pulled up along the mountains here. it's enhanced by the time it gets over to the east bay the diablo range and the santa clara valley there isn't a lot of moisture left. it has been running out and enhanced along the coastal hills. and then what's left will be just a little bit of moisture so we call that the rain shadow effect. and from our east bay hills camera vollmer peak one cht places around livermore where you could see about 0.4 maybe a 0.5 inches of rain mostly along the coast. chilly, moderate strength, atmospheric river on the way and wet and windy conditions into affectiono next week. midmorning, 10:00, scattered showers in the north bay. but it becomes steadier and heavier throughout the afternoon hours. 5:00 we've got downpours from santa rosa look at the east bay. it's been light but getting towards the 8:00, 9:00 wsh hour we see the heavier rain towards santa rosa, cloverdale. pockets of heavy rain through the overnight but it's not
