that includes the vaccine rollout. as we've been reporting it's been anything but smooth sailing when it comes to getting shots in arm. san francisco says it's going to run out of doses in just a couple of days. leann has more from the newsroom. the city got its notification system launched today, at least. >> oh, sure. making it easier for people to sign up. but it was down for a while. this is what we know in terms of the numbers. section as a city, the mayor said, again, not sut oar or kaiser, the city has received more than 3100 vaccines and has administered half of them. the remaining doses will be given out, but here's the concern. if the city doesn't reef more soon, they'll run out by this thursday. when it's your turn to get notified for the covid vaccine

those out of an abundance of caution. >> those 8,000 have not been replaced. the city has been criticized for not having a proper distribution plan in place. once the first doses to have vaccine became available. that's why even if the health department runs out,s the city announced today it will be ready to open up the site at city college at the end of the week. officials are reminding critics that it's the state that determines how many advantage seeps each county gets based on population and need. the director of health announced today the number of cases is slowly going down. so is the hospitalization rate. >> believe me, i hope that more vaccine comes as quickly as possible so we can get it into arms. >> we don't want to confuse anyone. we're talking only about the city health network.

icu availability. it's improving. it went up from 7.4% from 3.h. another is at 8.9%. it was based off a four-week projection. more than 23,000 new diagnosed cases today pushing the state shy of the number. the seven-day positivity rate has dropped below 10%. it's been several weeks since we've been able to say that. the number of people hospitalized or in icu, the numbers have been dropping. >> in the north bay, enough is enough, for some owners of restaurants and wineries. wayne friedman has more on the countermeasure they filed today in napa county superior court.

over 70 to 95 miles an hour in sonoma county. we look at the overall numbers. it is still gusty. 35 in half moon bay. the wind advisory remains up until 6:00 p.m. tonight, still a possibility of some downed trees. don't be surprised if there are isolated power outages until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow. i have rain in the forecast which should help. as we come back, i'll tell you all about that. dan. >> thank you. the wind has left its mark all over the bay area. lots of trees and branches have come down, knocking out power. roads are a mess and cars couldn't get through because they were blocked. several east bay parks are closed right now because of high winds. the road was blocked off.
