into them for months. he joins us by phone. what does today's development mean? >> reporter: they pseudo1500 businesses -- sued 1500 businesses and demands thousands to settle and now they are saying, it is not your job, that is our job. the ag office intervened this afternoon. they inserted themselves into the lawsuit and challenging their authority to mass cases. officials say they are trolling for lawsuits and shouldn't be allowed to get fees. they are doing this for their own enrichment. right now they are demanding $7,500 to start from businesses. officials stepped in specifically because of our investigation and the things we uncovered. our reports are cited and they say the motion speaks for itself. it is not clear if they will expand to other cases.

all right. back to our weather alert. a live look outside our abc 15 studios right there as the rain is pouring down. these showers are moving down to the south and southeast. the east valley spots have only had to deal with dust. starting to see rain move in as a live look at loop 101 and 202 interchange. the visibility reduced there as the dust picks up and a blowing dust advisory for pinal county. on the match, it is just south of the valley. two outflow boundaries. the arcing lines in the dark green and gray. i have drawn arrows on them so you can see the direction they are moving to. the dust is moving out of the
