phoenix police to sniff this guy out in a bush near granite reef and indian school. maricopa county sheriff's office says he's been booked on one charge fleeing law enforcement, but no charges just yet for threatening the dps trooper, but they could change as the investigation continues. >> >. yeah, scary situation for any officers. thank you so much. no one was on board when a plane smashed. >. a gilbert home. the pilot identifiedty -- smashed into a gilbert home. the pilot identified as ryan kilgore, and four sky drivers bailed out -- divers bailed out before the plane crashed. the couple that lives at the home returned to today to see what they can salvage. melissa blasius is out there, and were they able to save anything. >> reporter: no, they weren't able to save anything. in fact the next door neighbor said the couple had to go to

category 1 storm, it's going to push to the north and inch closer to us, toward the desert southwest over the next 24 to 48 hours as it weakens into a tropical depression. now big changes coming from this. rain chances increasing overnight, a wet tuesday across parts of arizona, maybe even here in the valley, and a major cool down coming as well, so we'll take you hour by hour and day by day through the forecast this week. her story just didn't seem to add up, and now she's charged with child abuse. she's accused of goi and leaving her six month old baby alone inside an unlocked car. a car that had the engine running, keys in the ignition. police say carter told them she was shopping at the store for just a minute, but surveillance video showed her actually in the store for 14 minutes. 10 years is how long a former valley track coach will spend behind bars, busted for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student. he met the girl at a track

one of the girl's friends told authorities about the incident. and you go to a cardinals game not expecting this to happen. a man now behind bars, accused of sexual abuse inside university of phoenix stadium. they picked up the man at some point in yesterday's game, he grabbed a woman in an inappropriate way and several people saw it happen. right now from the live desk, he's recovering in a hospital, but will soon have to get used to jail. a man previously named a person in new york and new jersey now in police custody. he was arrested this morning after a shoot out with police, found sleeping in the entrance of a new jersey bar. the fbi say he's directly linked to the devices used in the weekend explosion. the suspect was injured in today's shoot out, but expected to recover. new information on the a deadly freeway shooting that took the life of a phoenix woman. police released the chilling transcripts of the 911 call she

abc 15's maryellen resendez is live with the transcripts right now, and what are we learn? >> reporter: well, in the transcript 49-year-old denia farmer says it's right here she noticed the three men in a white work pickup truck follow her, but they did more than follow here. according to transcripts farmer told the 911 operator she stopped to get on the freeway's entrance ramp, and then they pulled up like they were going to g were following me on the freeway, end quote. in the transcripts farmer seems distracted between watching the truck behind her and trying to let the 911 operator know exactly where she was on the freeways. at one point she says she's quote nervous, and so was one of the drivers who witnessed it all. as he drove side by side with her on the freeway. he did not want to be identified.

basically explaining that threats of a shooting on campus today were just rumors, but those rumors still taken very seriously. tempe police had a larger than normal police presence on campus throughout the day, and we're told there was a fight last wednesday, and that sparked rumor that is something was going to happen on friday, well nothing did, but then over the weekend rumors swirled online that a shooting was going down on campus on monday. that forced an investigation and a letter police on campus. >> so everyone isn't really like that scared. we all know it was just something spreading a rumor about it. he cleared it up on twitter, and we're just going to school as usual, but there are some kids that did skip school >> reporter: and you just heard there some students told me that there was a noticeable absence of some of their class mates today, but police say there was no credible threat or specific danger, but they were taking no chances today.

trackerring winds elsewhere -- tracking wince elsewhere across the -- winds elsewhere across the valley, breezy across the valley, and it stays that way overnight. lowth 0s through -- low 90s through 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 p.m., and then upper 80s as the clouds continue to move in. currently it's 93 in mesa, anthem and deer valley, there, and ahwatukee and maricopa both checking in at 95 at this hour. casa grande is at 91, and the only spot we're tracking in the triple digits right now is bullhead city at 102 degrees. look at yuma. much cooler than average because the moisture is streaming into their area. breezes starting to pick up there too as they sit at 88 degrees, and it's the southwest corner of state seeing the best chances of showers over the next 24 hours. look at the 24 hour changes in

nearly 20 degrees in dewpoints over the next 24 hours as the moisture streams in ahead of hurricane payne. and here's the water vapor imagery, the moist air pushing in across most of our state. so in the overnight forecast tonight, rain showers will begin, and we could see the heaviest stuff down across southwest arizona with the chance of more light to moderate rain across the valley overnight and tomorrow morning. we're going to keep the shower chances going through much of the day. this is 8:00 p.m. mo there's a chance of more action here in the phoenix metro. so how much rain are we talking? well, it doesn't look like a lot, but some areas could see maybe a quarter of an inch. about .03 inches across the phoenix metro, and more down to the southwest, with about half an inch or the gila bend area. here's the hour by hour forecast. 76 at 6:00 a.m., showers in the morning and warming to the low 80s at 10:00.

then high 80s in the afternoon. much cooler than today, but a big dose of cooler air coming in tomorrow. 88 in fountain hills and mesa, and paradise valley, and 89 for the high in ahwatukee and the west valley for peoria, glendale, and avondale. lows in the 70s across the valley and up to the north low 60s in sedona and payson. these spots tomorrow hitting the mid-70s, flagstaff show low at 70 degrees, and no matter where you look across the state, below average temperatures for tomorrow and really for much of the week. we'll get a little warmer wednesday at 95 with lingering moisture in place, and we still have a slight chance of showers for wednesday and thursday. more breezes in play thursday too as the next low pressure system approaches from the west bringing another dose of cool air taking us down to 89 friday before the 90s kick back in through next weekend.

with criminals while they're in action. >> yeah, that's what went down today in a midtown neighborhood as a woman walked in on criminals gutting the empty apartment next door. >> sonu wasu is live, and you got a chance to talk to the woman. how did all of this go down? >> reporter: well these thieves didn't seem to care about the no trespassing sign, and the women came face to face with the guys until the driveway, and they were coming from that apartment. the thieves left some flooding, and even took the kitchen sink. this is the second time thief versus targeted the units, and this time she did more than call 911. she actually followed them in her car while talking to police along the way. thanks to her fearless actions, two men have been arrested by phoenix police. police thanked ruby basically saying they don't advise this
