23% humidity. dew points are sitting in the 50s tonight. we have that upper level moisture across the valley. not expecting showers or thunderstorms. if uh yo look at the valley forecast this evening, a nice night to head out to the fair. at 6:00 o'clock, sitting at 93. 91 coming up at 7:00 o'clock. we'll hit those 80s as we get into the 9:00 o'clock hour. coming up in a couple of minutes, warmer starting tomorrow. how long will it last and will we have rain? campaign chaos and political outrage about to play out before our very eyes. we are one hour away from a likely intense presidential debate. hillary clinton will not be holding back on those donald trump comments. >> reporter: round two. the controversy still growing over the comments from trump

death of their unborn child. two hours ago near 16th street in washington, a man is in hospital expected to pull through. he says two guys took his gun, fired, and ran off. police say they have a possible suspect. we're told two men were arguing when both pulled out guns and one fired sending one man to the hospital in critical condition. the other man arrested trying to get away. a bit of a trff nightmare this afternoon with the entire north side shut down. the car rolled over a t glendale avenue with one person suffering minor injuries. it took an hour to clear out the debris and reopen all the lanes. be extra careful on the trails after fire crews had to rush to rescue a 54-year-old today. he was riding his bike when somehow that bike got wrecked. crews brought him down the mountain where he was treated

opened fire on his own doorstep as the officers responded to a family disturbance. he was arrested early this month after a 12-hour stand off. he carried several rounds of ammunition. he's due to be charged on tuesday. a frightening ride in new york when two trains sideswipe each other. at least 33 people were hurt in last night's crash. the governor says it appears train was doing maintenance work and violated the clearance space of another train: even more tragedy in louisiana where a 5k race turned into a rescue when a wooden climbing obstacle collapsed during a warrior dash. firefighters say more than 20 people were on it. and of the 12 hurt, a child and three adults remain in the hospital. help cannot soon come enough as haiti begins three days of national mourning for

we had beautiful weather over the weekend, and that continues tonight. a few thunderstorms yesterday, but not today across the valley. it's been quiet. a couple clouds trying to bubble up. you saw those over the last few hours. right now you have thunderstorm activity near stafford. we had severe weather in stafford earlier this morning. quarter-sized hail fell there. near williams, a couple of spotty showers setting to the north west moving fully off to the east. we have pockets of heavy rain statewide. all of that activity across the high country, though, it's pretty minimal today will diminish once the sunsets. we'll have left over cloud cover as we head into tomorrow. valley stays dry. but again, clouds across the higher terrain. storm system is out of here. that will be the trend for the

pretty quiet weather pattern setting up. outside, a couple clouds still hanging out. that's it. we're sitting in the 90s near average to slightly above average highs. we fall back into the 70s tomorrow morning. a quiet, dry night. and then tomorrow, we're a little bit warmer as we climb up to 97. air quality forecast looking pretty nice if you plan on getting out for a run or a walk, tomorrow. that air quality not going to be a huge issue across the valley. a little bit of moisture behind this. as you look at the broader perspective, through the white mountains, all of this pushing into new mexico with those showers and storms across the high country diminishing once the sunsets 76 in prescott.

sheriff paul babeu was headmaster at desisto school in massachusetts. a boarding school rife with abuse. a lot of things went down that probably shouldn't have. this isn't about abuse or neglect, because none of this was found. students and parents testified about it, and a judge ordered it to stop. the cornering, the sheeting, i didn't know how to live and function as a normal human being. i'll end with that, thank you so much.
