other homes under construction. we're working to figure out what started this. bullets flying at a phoenix bar. the scene very active right now blocking off parts of mcbowell street and 43. let's go out to megan thompson who is trying to gather the latest details for us. megan, what are you finding out. >> reporter: this is a deadly shooting. two others were actually shot as well. just like you were mentioni how active this is, nick. they are trying to piece together happened themselves. the information that we have is coming directly from phoenix fire who were called to the break room bar and grill this morning. when they got on scene, there was nothing they could do to save one of the victims. pronounced dead on the scene. another victim, a woman in her 30s was shot in the leg.

shot in his back. we expect this to be closed as they investigate this and try to figure everything out. we're checking with police to see if anybody is in custody or if they're looking for a suspect. we will bring that to you when we get that. >> thank you, megan. it will be a busy few days in the valley. donald trump will be speaking to a crowd at the phoenix convention center. on wednesday, hillary clinton will be here. we're trying exactly where she will be speaking. trump's rally starts at 3:00. thousands of people are expected to show up in support and also protesters. a heads-up if you do go. bikers for trump is planning to be there. they will provide protection for trump supporters. as many as 300 of them could show up for the rally. allison. >> another bombshell against

the fbi is looking into more e- mails which means that the case is not necessarily closed. she is saying let's get all of the info out there. the fbi came across these device on a phone belonging to anthony weiner. reaction this morning from both of your candidates. >> it is imperative that the bureau explain this issue in question, whatever it is, without any delay. because right now your guess as good as mine. and i don't think that is good enough. >> this is bigger than watergate. hillary clinton's corruption is on a scale we have never seen before. we must not let her take her criminal scheme into the oval office. >> well, the question now is do the e-mails contain classified info and were they on clinton's private server?

today, actress martha. she is the star of the real o'neils. she will be at three separate events. clinton will be speaking in florida later on. see our one and one interview and donald trump's rally on abc 15 on tv and online. we will be there every step of the way. police investigating a possible stabbing near 19th and glendale. this happened near rail station. our crews saw one person being taken into custody. no word if anyone was seriously injured. abc 15 first on scene at this investigation where a woman was jay walking and got hit by a car. she is in critical condition this morning. the driver stayed on scene. police do not think drugs or alcohol were factors. you can see debris here all over the freeway. dps tells us only one vehicle

control and hit a wall. those lanes were shut down for at least an hour but have since reopened. new details about the restraining order that ended up sending leslie merit junior back to jail. he is the one time freeway shooting suspect and a woman got a restraining order against him. he is pregnant with his child and he has threatened to kill her. merit called her his property because of the child inside her. he violated the restraining order on thursday and was arrested and then released. we could not reach merit for comment. did you get affected by this one? miles of backups. a viewer sent in this video here. you can see that ladder there, the truck on the freeway, a man is on the overpass and the ladder was being used to get him down. the i-10 was shut down for almost two hours. police were able to negotiate with that man to get him down and get him to safety. across arizona, the man

hospital this morning. so that means marcus dell torey is behind bars. we just got his mug shot. you see it on the screen. officers say he was on a bike when he pulled a gun on these officers and started shooting. an officer was grazed by a bullet and then those police officers returned fire. staying in tucson, a teacher arrested and police putting out the mug shot. they say 48-year-old eddie is you'll contact with a student on campus. and the investigation isn't over yet. police are encouraging tips from possible other victims this morning. you have probably seen this crazy video by now, a plane erupting into flames on the tarmac the chico o'hare. this all happening moments before takeoff too. the ntsb investigating this one closely saying the american airlines flight experienced a rare and experience engine

off and are spewed outside of the engine. 21 people were treated, mostly for smoke inhalation. new information on police information outside of a scottsdale bar. according to the owner, it may have been a big understanding. a neighbor called police claiming they saw a guy with a gun run inside. police surrounded this place using a loud speaker and shouted for the guy to come out. it turns out that he is a regular just there drink. >> sure. but in -- the whole time while the police were out here, the guys didn't know anything -- the police were out here. so they're just in there drinking their beer or whatever they were having and listening to music. and, you know, watching tv. >> the man was taken into custody. that bar owner says no weapon was found inside of his business. just about 9 past the hour right now. talking about the most accurate

right? >> no. no. not at all. that if anything has been some of the relief. some people say at least it is a little cloudy. you don't get all of that sun. it is especially warm. unseasonably warm. we're talking 10 degrees. it is end of october. clouds and radar with the desert doppler. you see some clouds in here. those are start to thicken up throughout the next couple of days. today will be mostly clear. that is good news. right now temperatures sitting at 07 degrees. mild mostly clear today. but, again, as i mentioned, the clouds will thicken up the next few days. that will be a good indicator what is to come. i'll break that down in the full forecast. brilliant, beautiful, involved that. is the message that a valley organization wants to teach to teens.

next five years. this would be paid for through airport funding sources. a great investment to keep up the number of flyers we have. a big win for the freeway project. work on the loop, the first phase, started last month. but the major part will begin next year. the new freeway completed by late 2019. a heads-up if you ever find yourself driving in chandler. cameras are turning back on next week. starting tuesday, along arizona avenue at warner and ray. also a new camera at the dobson and ray intersection. there is a grace period for a month to get warning. but come december, the tickets will start going out. we have several closures on our valley freeways this

valley. loop 202 red mountain will shut down in the eastbound direction. this is from gilbert to mcdowell road. i would recommend using us-60 or mcdowel to get around that closure. out in the west valley, you will see this ramp closed. i-10 westbound, that is going to shut down 3:00 a.m. on saturday until 5:00 p.m. on sunday. you will want to get off a you can use side streets, cotton lane, that will wrap you up to the 303. grand avenue, they're doing work for the bell road bridge. it will shut down at litchfield. this is 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. friday night and saturday night. you will see the two nights they close that down. there's a couple other projects going on. so just head to abc15.com for a full list. >> thank you, mallory. more taking action for us.

morning. allison has been doing a great job staying on top of the most accurate forecast. a lot of people want to know what halloween is going to be like. what you're going to wear under your costume if you have. >> it will not be as warm as this weekend. that is good news. we have to get through this weekend first. i'll show you stat that's we have for halloween. it will be cool. but let's look outside right now at what we're currently feeling. 70 degrees. a mild start to the day. humidity and dew points a bit but those will continue to drop throughout the day. let's look at the valley. a lot of us in the 60s, sitting in the mid to upper 60s with light breezes under mostly clear skies for us right now. the winds are light. we're up to 10 miles per hour in some spots. now, your saturday forecast is going to be warm today. 94 degrees. again, the winds will be light. your uv index will be at a 6. that puts us in the high

couple of days for sure. no other weather alerts and storm chances to tell you about. here is how the testimonies break down hour by hour. by 10:00, 82 degrees. as we get into the afternoon, the warmest times, mid-90s. we typically don't see that temperature at this time of year. 88 by 6:00 and still mild in the upper 70s by 9:00 p.m. tonight with mostly clear skies. as we look at futurecast here, you can see we are sitting under this pressure. that's what that is here. we are unseasonably warm. we will stay that way throughout the day even though we see clouds develop across the state. by tomorrow morning, we're staying clear. right behind this, we will start to get a low there that will bring close to avenue temperatures for this time of year. not quite. we will be a little warmer. here is a look at the halloween numbers i was talking about. spooky extremes. the warmest on record was 96,

for halloween. a phoenix bar became a crime scene after multiple people were shot, one killed. megan thompson is live at the scene for us at mcdowel and 44th street. megan, what are you finding out right now. >> reporter: like you mentioned, one person was killed. two other people were hit in all of this. and just how long the street will be blocked off is unknown. it is up to the detectives how long it will take to investigate the scene. not only was there killed, but two other people rushed to the hospital. we know a woman was hit in the leg. a man was struck in the back. they're in serious condition right now. this happened a few hours ago. we don't know what led up to this or the relationship between the people all hit by bullets. what we do know is that phoenix fire came rushing to the scene. there was nothing they could do for the person who was killed. that person was dead on the scene. two other people rushed to the

how to improve. fico plans to test the idea on teens early next year before rolling it out to the public. we have several closures on our valley freeways this weekend, including the east valley. take a look. loop 202 red mountain will shut down in the eastbound direction. this this is from gilbert to mcdowel road until monday morning 5:00 a.m. the entire weekend. use us-60 or the side streets like mcdowel to get around that closure. will see this ramp closed. it is i-10 westbound, the loop that brings you to 303 northbound. that will shut down until 5:00 p.m. on sunday. you will want to get off the freeway a couple exits before that and use side streets. you can use cotton lane. that will wrap you back up to the 303. grand avenue, they're doing work for the bell road bridge. so grand avenue will shut down to litchfield. this is 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
