it is still very comfortable enough to be outside that is what you want to do. when we look outside you will notice a brown haze and we are seeing some of that in a little test out there. our air quality showing the dust concentrations are up in the moderate range. but we are not seeing any air quality alerts. if you are especially sensitive you may not opt to work outside but overall it is not too bad. over the next 24 hours finally some rain that should help clear the air out a little bit. we are looking at those clear conditions across the state after starting out with a few sprinkles and flurries up near flagstaff early this morning. over the next 24 hours we will actually see a boost in rain chances. we have a storm system moving

shifting further to the south. it is going to pull in some moisture across our state so humidity woke up but we will also see the rain chances go up. especially among parts of eastern arizona. here in the valley is small chance of showers developing and the best chance of oral will be in the higher terrain to our north into our east. today looking dry across the state tonight when get the boost in moisture. here is 1:00 tomorrow morning out at show low the potential for scattered showers and storms and then those showers and storms become more widespread through the day tomorrow. but we could get a few showers here in the valley tomorrow morning and possibly a few scattered thunderstorms going into the afternoon. it will not be widespread. not everybody will get rain,

vice presidential nominee mike pence just spoke. what was it like inside the convention center? >> i just spoke with the security guard who tells me they had 750 people inside with mike pence making a plea for the people to get out and vote. we are looking at the video and mike pence told the crowd this election is not just a choice between two people but also between two futures. he also took this opportunity to slam the nominee hillary clinton saying she was unfit to lead also talking about the fbi investigation. some of the crowd yelled lock her up. at the end he says now is the time for everybody to come together. take a listen. back this movement is coming together and arizona is coming together. we are going to mcdonald trump the next president of the

with those clouds clearing out to the east and really clearing out across the state. as you start planning your afternoon, plan on mostly sunny conditions. our temperature right now is 74 to take -- 74 degrees in a very nice morning so far warming up to 79 degrees by lunchtime but our high only making it into the low 80s again today. the 83 decays today and 1 degree above the average but very pleasant. across the state it is not that with 70 in sedona and 59 in shallow. there is low 70s to the last in bullhead city. we are feeling some stronger wind across northern arizona especially in northwest arizona where winds are sustained at 3 miles-per-hour.

the strongest today and into tomorrow will be across the northwest pocket. right now and bullhead city there is a like wind advisory for the northwest pocket of the state because of the strong winds and it is in effect through the day tomorrow. it is breezy across others arizona but we will fill breezes tomorrow with gusts up to 20 miles-per-hour. it all has to do with the storm system currently moving into our state. it will eventually go south bringing moisture and increasing rain chances. tonight we see those rain chances in the white mountains in the transferring becomes more widespread with a slight chance of an isolated storm in the valley. in the valley it 80% chance for rain through the tomorrow with a few showers during the morning commute.
