and a deadly crash with 3 cars involved. we are working to get the names of everyone involved in both of these crashes. the causes, and to find out if any charges will be filed. more craziness on the roadway. this phoenix police officer is okay after being hit by a red light runner. 27th and camelback, not much damage to the police suv. the other car had to be towed. police checked surveillance which shows the officer did have the green light. take a look at this picture. firefighters and paramedics helped rescue an 11-year-old girl from a tree. the girl was about 40 feet up. she had to be taken down in the letter bucket. she was not hurt. let's talk about the most accurate forecast. a nice looking start across the valley. high clouds drifting but otherwise ousley sunny skies

75 in tempe. 79 in glendale. it's nice this morning but this afternoon will be warmer. temperatures will warm well into the 80s. i think we will work her way into the 80s for the lunch hour and low 80s still by 1:00 p.m. but our highs make it into the mid-to upper 80s this afternoon. we will watch for the high temperature, 87 today. 3 degrees warmer than yesterday. that puts us nearly 10 degrees above the 30 year average. that is 79. that is where we should be. we're talking upper 80s and unseasonably warm weather. by 6 pm still holding onto the 80s. equals back into the 70s after that. despite a few passing height clouds. -- high clouds. no rainfall in the doppler is
