month. we have breaking news in east oakland. several people have been rushed to the hospital after a crash involving a number of vehicles. it happened at 9:00 tonight two hours ago on 35th avenue at paxton. you can see debris littered around the street. right now northbound paxton is closed to traffic as police talk with witnesses and gather evidence. new details tonight about a stabbing at a bart station. we've learned the suspect is a convicted felon now charged with attempted murder. robert dolph was charged with six counts in connection with the attack at the coliseum bart station. dolph has two por drug convictions. he's now accused of wounding a woman and her brother in last saturday's attack. and the brother of stephon clark, the man shot and killed by sacramento police, was seen speaking with the police chief during i special city council meeting on department policies. the chief said he'll release more video of last month's shooting. the department also mandated that officers will have to get permission before turning off the microphone on their body

cameras, which happened during the clark shooting. 2 1/2 weeks since an apple engineer died when his tesla crashed while on autopilot, his family is now speaking out to the i-team. dan noyes is here with more of his exclusive interview. dan. >> ama, tonight tesla released is strongest statement yet blaming the driver walter huang for what happened. but his family are fighting back. >> reporter: despite his long hours at apple last november 38-year-old walter huang found time for his family. >> his daily routine is to wake up every morning before everyone else to make breakfast for everyone and make coffee for savon. >> i spoke with his brother and his wyche and the attorney they hired to sue tesla. walter died march 23rd in a fiery tesla crash in mountain view on his way to work. she couldn't reach him and turned on the news to see this. she told me walter had complained that his tesla's autopilot had steered toward that same barrier on several

occasions. she recognized the location and the blue model x. >> did you think if was water? >> yeah, i think that's him. he just like love everything. for me. i not only lost my husband. i lost my best friend. >> reporter: tesla kofrmtd its data showed walter huang was using autoo'pilot at the time of the crash but that his hands were off the steering wheel for six seconds right before impact. tesla sent me a statement tonight that reads in part "autopilot requires the driver to be alert and have hands on the wheel. the crash happened on a clear day with several hundred feet of visibility ahead which means that the only way for this accident to have occurred is if mr. huang was not paying attention to the road." >> we know that he's not the type who would not have his hands on the steering wheel. he's always been a really careful driver. he has not gotten a ticket in his entire life. >> reporter: the family's lawyer believes tesla's blaming walter huang to distract from issues with the car's autopilot.

we take this one seriously. reporter: the pedestrian safety advisory committee discussed the scooters, which have popped up i the hundreds on san francisco streets in the past three weeks. >> these are stationary items that are very, very dangerous for seniors, families, and especially people who are a.d.a. like blind animals. >> reporter: when not in use riders leave the rental scooters seemingly wherever theyle sidewalks. riders also tend to ignore laws like wearing a helmet and not riding on sidewalks. >> our legislation has to catch up. >> reporter: supervisor aaron peskin introduced legislation to require the three scooter companies to go through a permitting process. >> their general motto has been k for forgiveness rather than permission. >> we're ready and willing for the city's regulations. >> reporter: line bike's spokesperson joe arellano said lime is satisfied with the rollout so far even though people are getting injured like this man who hurt his toe when he tripped on a scooter in hayes valley. >> does lime take any responsibility for the fact they're not being used responsibly for everyone right now? >> i think we can't police 100%
