our 10 dates in 10 states cross-country adventure. abc producer erica scott was busy this super bowl weekend, tackling three dates in three different places. this time she took a break from the digital world and she went old school letting her friends set her up. did the old-fashioned way work? let's take a look. from sand to snow to super bowl, this weekend was full of some pretty wild and whacky first dates. viva las vegas. on my way to date number four, i made a pit stop at the little white wedding chapel where thousands of couples have been married. including frank sinatra, elvis presley, even britney spears. >> as a minister, how did your folks meet? meeting online and more and more you're finding those numbers increasing.

by friends and colleagues. hey, are you kash? >> i'm a small business owner. i own a yogurtland here. definitely the place to be. >> we had by far the dustiest date so far. dune bugging. >> that was the best first date ever. >> right? >> but saturday's date was a picturesque postcard. we're at the halfway mark. it's date number five. i'm going on date with tom petty. >> okay, not that tom petty. but my best friend's best friend. >> dog sledding has definitely been my favorite date so far. i'm really glad it was with tom. we have a mutual best friend. i went into trusting him more because my best friend trusts him.

for the broncos. dr. gail saltz weighed in on digital dating versus the old school setup of having a friend introduce you. >> in a better world we would meet in person as we used to and therefore be exposed to their body language, the way they converse with you before you would invest in that as a potential relationship. >> we met at a bar, got some dinner, watched some football and bonded over our mutual love of food. >> it was great meeting erica. we had a great time watching the game together. who knows, hopefully, get a second date. >> all right, producer erica scott joins us now from denver, colorado, erica, we were all -- we were all set up by friends. how did it compare to the digital dates? >> i have had the best of both worlds. i've had the digital dates. i've had setups from friends and colleagues. i think you go into a little bit more comfortable knowing that you

might be a smaller pool. i don't know how many friend of friends you have to date from. 40 million americans online, a crowded marketplace, or you can say it's ripe for a digital date. it depends on your preference. >> there are so many different outlets on online. you're going to austin. you're going to be talking to ceo of bumble. what makes that site different from the others? >> sure, bumble is unique in the sense that once a match is made, the girl has to initiate the conversation. the ceo is also a woman. i want to ask her if she thinks having the women initiate the conversation if that possibly makes for a better match. >> like the sadie hawkins of online dating. you have done pretty cool things on these first dates. you're doing something that might scare you the most, texas two-stepping. >> i'm excited to get my dancing shoes on and going to austin. we're going to be two-stepping. hopefully, i don't miss my

so grab those two. excellent. so, what we're going to do -- this is 12 ounces of turkey meat. that's what we have. saute that. >> plenty for two people. >> exactly, saute the garlic. add a little touch of soy sauce. in here, we have the noodles, do it per the instructions. but the one trick, every ramen packet has a seasoning packet. i actually mix the seasoning packet into the turkey. that gives us some seasoning. so, then, you just boil this for two minutes. what you can then do is take this brown turkey, add it to the ramen noodles like that. then, the bok choy, if you cut it up nice and thin like this, it cooks really quickly. and then we add just a touch -- hello, hi, everyone. >> hi. >> a little touch of soy sauce.

beijing, they always put vinegar in noodles. it's a very beijing thing to do. all right, mix this up. nice and hot. >> really good. >> i mean, it's good for you. it's easy. you can do this with a hot pot at home. all right, a little bit of that. >> excellent. >> very comforting. >> love the seasoning. >> i mean, it's cold. i was at the super bowl yesterday, it was hot. >> you flew all night? >> oh, yeah, but it was awesome to do. it was a fun defensive game, i tell ya. >> do we need a wok to make this dish? >> no, but if you buy a ming tsai wok my kids go to college. just saying. just saying. >> you're good. >> tell us about this. >> this is a peking duck. chinese new year, you get red envelope. whole fruit, preserved fruit is
