to get inside the field to see her speak. we're gonna check in live coming up. the election now just less than a week away. crowds already gathering at valley ballot centers. >> people looking to cast their vote early here in maricopa county are finding out this is not a fast process. at one location the lines and the frustrations are lauren? >> reporter: that's right. i'm at a glendale early polling place. and the door is supposed to close at 5:00. right now people are actually waiting outside in the parking lot. the wait time? 3 hours. some have brought lawn chairs expecting to be here for quite a while. voting early doesn't necessarily mean voting quickly. >> i missed a class >> reporter: here at 57th and

an hour. early voting lasts through friday. and long lines at the ballot box have been under the microscope since march in our state. people waited for hours to vote in our presidential preference. the last county only had 60 polling locations. it will now have 724 arizonans willing to wait to cast their vote? a new poll shows some surprising numbers. more than half of arizona voters will wait as long as it takes to cast their ballots. 22% said they would wait about an hour. >> and of course, a lot of interest in early voting. and of course to the arizona secretary. state, so far almost 1.4 million

in in arizona. arpaio's contempt of court trial has been postponed. a district judge is granted his request to delay the trial because he says he needs more time to prepare. trial was supposed to begin december 6th. the sheriff is charged with contempt, defying a judge's order to stop his immigration patrols. new details about this fire that levelled an apartment complex currently under construction. investigators say that two people on-scene may have the answers that they are looking for. >> reporter: just beyond that
