live from cbs 5, breaking news. >> seconds away and now midnight on the east coast and yes, voters are heading to the polls as we speak. this is a live shot from new hampshire. they have a long-standing tradition of casting ballots the moment the clock strikes midnight. that is what you're seeing there. >> and tonight, the tradition presidential candidates now making their final push for votes. >> you got to get out and vote. >> let's swamp them. >> pennsylvania, let's swamp them. >> once and for all, yes love trumps hate. let's get out and vote. philadelphia, tomorrow, let's make history together.

many will go out and cast your ballots. >> this time around, we want to make sure you have all of the answers you need when it comes to voting. we're joined live outside of the polling place. >>reporter: yes, they're hoping voters won't experience those long lines. they have more of these sites set up and if you head out in the morning or in the evening, here are a couple things you should keep in mind. beginning with something brought up by donald trump. >> the election is being rigged by corrupt media pushing false allegations and out right lies. >> he went onto encourage people to show up at the polls

but they said leave that to the parties. >> they can't go in and perform their own types of poll monitoring. you'll interfere with other voting, and that's a crime. >> and guns aren't >> election marshalls will call mcso if anyone violates the rules and refuses to leave. >> the most important things, they're open from 6:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. and bring an id but don't just at any precinct, you have to vote in your assigned precinct
