bring back two treasured members of a community. >> they were the most beautiful women that have ever drawn a breath in their bodies. they were totally giving of themselves to everyone. >> reporter: authorities have not said how sanders was implicated or whether he has any personal connection to the funs. he's described as sort of a drifter in this area. meanwhile, services for the two sisters set for next week. sheinelle, back to you. a tropical storm brewing in the caribbean is close to making landfall. that could cause problems for folks along the gulf coast in florida. dave price is here and tracking the storm. what are we seeing? >> let's walk to the weather wall right now and take a look, see what's happening. this is a busy time. typically august is really the high point in the atlantic hurricane season. as you can see, it is living true to form. these four areas are what we are

let's roll over to the southern bohemian islands right now. this is the tropical wave we are watching. in the next five days, a 40% chance this will again strengthen into a tropical storm. we will keep an eye on this one right now. let's look at the things that are going to contribute to the strengthening or weakening. the very warm water in the gulf right now at about 90 degrees. that's fuel to the fire. there are also winds which are shearing this introducing dry air and that may weaken it. chance that this continues to strengthen. two models now, one, the american model which takes it into the gulf states and the euro which brings it into the southeastern over florida. no mat what happens, we are going to see very heavy rains roll over the peninsula of florida right now. locally, upwards of 5 or more inches over the next several days. it's going to be a very, very wet weekend. let's continue to take a look at what we're expecting over the

>> you have to get rid of the standing water. >> reporter: that standing water could lead to more mosquitos. local officials are on alert urging residents to closely watch man-made containers. >> look at your property, drain it, cover it. >> reporter: there are more than 40 home grown cases of zika in four florida counties, but the vast majority of cases have been contracted by traveling outside the country. her daughter was born without microcephaly, the birth defect characterized by an abnormally small head. her mother says she's terrified about what the future might bring. a study out this week in the journal "radiology" suggests that babies born without obvious zika symptoms can have issues later.
