it costs $100 to send someone to jail and it costs $19 to send them to cross roads. a local charter school that helps students to graduate from high school could be shutting down because of the lack of money. rain shadow charter school has been on probation for a while now, because they didn't have enough funding. they gave a presentation to board members about a contingency plan for the school but nothing was decided for the future. a decision could be made on january 2th. oregon manufacturer will get thousands of laptops into schools. there's a program that has been authorized by the legislature. schools can apply for competitive grants that can be awarded in march.
