(male announcer): this is the bay area news station, kron 4 news starts now. >> catherine: we are tracking to developing stories up of the east bay tonight. the first coming in antioch what authorities are on the scene of the deadly officer involved shooting. >> catherine: and happened just before 1:00 at an apartment complex on claudia court. sheriff's deputies serving in restraining order shot and killed a man who allegedly had to hedge charged that there was some sort of weapon. the man died at the scene. the end to the police department and the contra costa sheriff's office are investigating.

>> catherine: good evening and catherine heenan creek this comes after another deli officer in washington in oakland and the incident and one man was shot and killed by emeryville police. kron4 j.r. stone joins us live now with the details. j.r.? >> they were advised that the suspect was armed with a gun. striking the suspect. >> reporter: now and the shot you can see the tart and a blanket covering the body shortly after the shooting. officers from oakland and emeryville are working this case. they say just after 12 cody got a call saying woman had a gun and had to stolen items from a store. we believe that the store to be the emeryville home depot.
