vegas police appears to confirm that the man was jaywalking. one person is dead after crash on land all of our and colton avenue. it happened just before midnight. according to police vehicle crashed into a parked semitruck a second person was transported to the hospital but their injuries are not considered life-threatening. >> we're following breaking news on georgia police officer killed while responding to a suspicious person call. happened in the small town of eastman about two hours southeast of atlanta. police say officer kim smith approached the suspect got out of his car and then was shot. the suspect fled the scene. police are still searching for that suspect at this time. they say officer smith was not wearing a body camera at the time of his death.

investigation uncovers a case of child naqvi. he is facing one count each of possession and distribution of child pornography. investigators from the internet crimes against children task force internal affairs bureau still looking at the case after receiving a confidential hit. he is on unpaid administrative leave. he faces a judge next week. violence erupts in the walkie wisconsin after a hundreds of people gathered in the streets. some setting fire to local businesses. the unrest started after the walkie police officer shot and killed an armed man. it's not immediately clear if the man pointed the gun or fired at the officer. as many as 100 protesters gathered late last night. >> this is a situation where we are asking every resident of this community to do everything
