this, cameras are not allowed in court. jury selection is very private sensitive part of a trial. we were allowed to see the defendant. he did enter the court. there was a brief discussion between attorneys with the judge. that is the video we have of him in court yesterday. this jury selection process will continue this morning. it was fascinating because we got a glimpse into the possible defense her in this case it is accused that michael did run over the teenager who wouldn't let go of his ipad. he had been given that ipad by his father. his father said he's preparing

[indiscernible] there was another person who i guess you would call a co-defendant in this case. that person did plead guilty in this case earlier in the month. so the trial includes just one defendant here. when we talk about perhaps getting a glimpse into the defense in this case, the attorney for michael did tell the pool of potential jurors they would be hearing a story accident. more about that defense possibility, at least a strategy going forward in this trial. >> kim: makes sense they would attempt to go that route. just a sad ending to a story that captivated a community. the man who went to move bees

a swarm of bees stung him more than 100 times. the coroner confirming he died from those injuries last thursday. it was earlier in the month on august 4 he was attacked. workers were able to remove that hive a few days later. what an awful local tragedy to have to share with you this morning. another sad situation that played out there in a local community and you are seeing a young man who his story but didn't want to show his face. he is facing the reality that his friend gone and it could be his fault. there is the man who is no long we are us. he's 44 years old. he was his neighbor and his friend. on saturday afternoon when they were hanging out here in this community he said helper had an episode. they don't know if drug use was
