opener. brandon marshall took to a knee showing support for his former college teammate colin kaepernick. he was the only player from either ter broncos or panthers to take a knee and take a stance. pro football kicked off last night with a super bowl rematch. it's another nfl franchise that people are talking about. of course the the oakland raiders one step closer to calling las vegas home as local leaders near a decision on a proposed 65,000 seat stadium. developers say time is running out to make a decision on that $1.9 billion project. the current plan requires a big investment from the public about $750 million. that would come in the form of a room tax.

>> this is an unbelieve story. the length they go to to try to meet sales goals. they will pay $185 million for pushing customers into accounts they never requested. these accounts generated fees. more than 2 million of these deposit and credit card accounts were opened and not authorized. more than 5,000 workers have been fired related to this according to sever some of that will go back to the customers, some will go to pay fines and penalties. that is awful. >> let's talk about this because this is important. ford's door latch recall problem getting bigger and this is going to affect a lot of people. what do they need to do? >> ford's dilemma with doors that won't stay shut continues. it's added to this recall.

this is a crime spree that started with a robbery and ended with a shooting death of robinson. we're learning this new information from the police report which news 3 obtained from the police department. perez robbed a woman at gunpoint at an atm and then used the money to buy beer at a convenience store and then at a mcdonald's perez killed robinson after an argument over who should haveel woman at the restaurant. robinson and the woman argued and they exchanged threatening and profane language at one point. when perez got involved there was a shooting and robinson bled to degree. perez was arrested. and as we saw in that incredible video made the bold escape from the police department. perez was on the run for five

as for perez's story the police report said he said to detectives that he never had any intention of killing robinson. he says that the shooting of robinson was actually an act of self-defense. he has been charged in this crime along with a number of other crimes related and unrelated to what happened in north las vegas. all told his bail right now is at he will be returning to court later this month to begin the first of what will be mr. court proceedings as this moves forward to trial. >> thank you for that report. a woman is arrested accused of killing her boyfriend by hitting him with his own car.
