the 1-point-6 billion dollar powerball jackpot, but a ticket purchased in onawa, iowa is good for two-million dollars! the ticket was sold at the casey's store in onawa. the person who bought it hit the first five numbers drawn last night, but missed the powerball. that's good for one- million dollars, but the ticket holder also added the power play, which h ubles the prize to two-million! there is no word yet on who bought the ticket. it's one of eight two- million dollar tickets sold nationwide. three tickets did hit the jackpot. one in florida, one in tennessee and one in california, where nbc's jennifer bjorklund checked out the all-night party at the 7-11 where the ticket was sold.

leaders of several different faiths came together wednesday in sioux city... to help feed the hungry... and to support each other's religions. ktiv's t tmie clark has that story.

"it's very important we come together to work on projects together and show our tolerance, understanding of each other and learn from each other," said congregation beth shalom's rabbi guy greene. the religious leaders say they want to create an atmosphere of respect for every religion and practice. "i've been very concerned about the political stuff that's going on in our country right now and the divisions that are being caused by what people consider to be faith issues and casting a whole population of people in a bad light," said trinity lutheran church's pastor paul johnston. they say by coming together, they're showing their understand one other. closing a box of food.
