fundraiser, this is a big deal. really big. we are so excited about it, going to new heights for the kids of siouxland. so what is it? it's called over the edge. it is a chance to rappel off the top of the howard johnson hotel. all you need to is raise $1,000 to help the kids of siouxland then you get to rappel off the top of the building. that is a big amount but you have a lot of time to do it too. registration starts february 1st and the event is june 15th so you've got about four months to raise the money. and collect pledges; collect donations from friends and family and coworkers. coworkers, you can also do toss your boss, it's kind of fun. you get all your coworkers together and you can toss your boss over the edge. that sounds fun. if the boss doesn't want to go over the edge then he can match the pledge, then he can pick somebody else to go over the edge. you're hoping this is going to be one of your biggest fundraisers, right? how is that money going to be used? we use it to help set up matches for our kids. we have 50 kids on our waiting list and we need to do recruitment, go out in the community and make awareness about what big brothers, big sisters is all about. give me your best sales pitch, why do we need to raise this money to rappel off the howard johnson in sioux city? it sounds awesome. to help kids in siouxland. the kids in our program are more likely to stay off drugs, they're more likely to graduate high school, go on to college, they have better relationships with their parents. they just need that one to one mentoring relationship. we need mentors to help these kids in siouxland so they have a better chance at life. perfect. barb thanks so much for being
