the latest, and last poll, of the iowa caucus process came out this morning. fueled by likely first- time republican caucusgoers, republican donald trump leads texas senator ted cruz 31-24 percent in the quinnipiac university poll. that same poll showed those first timers on the democratic side favor vermont senator bernie sanders over hillary clinton 49 to 46 percent. but, keep in mind that the only poll that counts is the one taken at those 1,681 caucus location, in iowa, tonight. we'll have live reports throughout the day, and night... to bring you the very latest. sarah?

a massive wave knocked a surfer off his board off the coast of maui, swallowing him whole, and it was all caught on video. check this out as surfer tom dosland caught the wave. he later described it as a sea monster rising out of the ocean. the monster won this time... you can see him bailing off the board. amazingly he came away with only a stiff neck and a broken board and was out
