good evening -- and thanks for joining us. i'm christopher king. a van -- plows into a house -- near stewart and lamb this afternoon. 13 action news reporter -- gina lazara is live on the scene. gina -- what's happening out there? first i want you to check out this damage christopher. this was once a glass window with the couch right up against it. now look at this mess now of what this scene looked like an hour ago when the van was still inside the home. i talked to the owner of the van. she was actually riding in the passenger seat when the crash happened. she says she let her friend drive her van since they were headed to a store in an area she is not familiar with. the van owner says they were having a conversation when all of a sudden -- her friend -- the driver -- just stopped talking. he drove straight through a stop sign..... up onto the curb...

police say -- the 39-year-old was riding around the jean dry-lake bed -- when his vehicle went airborne. he died at the scene this is the second deadly crash there in the past month. another man -- carlos guzman died in a similar incident -- on july 22nd. right now -- a motor ridr this crash. it happened just before 1:30 this morning -- at the intersection of silverado ranch and gilespie. police say -- the motorcyclist was speeding -- and ran through a red light -- t-boning a car. the driver of the car suffered minor injuries. customers are wary -- after horrified screams -- echo through a department store 13 action news reporter -- david schuman is live -- at "ross dress for less" near charleston and fort apache. david -- what are they saying there? if you were trying on shoes in
