municipalities.. so $83 million dollars was divided between clark county... and all of the cities inside the county. and 75 million dollars were used for road construction. ----- las vegas sands... which wants to build a $1.9 billion dollar stadium to attract the raiders is asking to do is increase the size of the pie. the company is asking the state to tack an extra g of a percent onto the room tax... which currently sits around 13 percent. the additional tax would add an extra 88 cents onto the price of a one hundred dollar room. using 2015 numbers that... would have grown the pie from $606 million to around $656 million. all of the previous groups would have still received the same dollar totals... but it would leave that extra $50 million to pay for the new stadium. of course, the line in the sand right now is that $750 million
