but... no worries.... it was all a training exercise. the f-b-i is helping southern nevada police to improve their response when it comes to child abduction cases. 13 action news reporter marissa kynaston gives us an inside look at that training. nat when did you last talk to her this may look like a real interview-- between investigators and witnesses-- but this-- nat tbd --is a mock command center-- as the fbi helps train southern nevada law response with child abductions. sot aaron rouse, special agent in charge, fbi las vegas it's all about communication they say the biggest challenge in southern nevada-- was communication between departments. so thats why starting now-- theyll start using the fbi's child abduction rapid deployment team. its essentially a way for the fbi to have better communication with all the local departments. and today-- agencies are learning those techniques. sot brett zimmerman, deputy chief, metro we try to simulate as real a situation as we can real situations-- like when this happened.
