was suffering life threatening injuries. but they are now saying she is stable. reporting live near lamb and craig gl 13 action news firefighters were called out to a home near desert inn and rainbow. they arrived this morning....to find heavy smoke and flames pouring out of the garage. crews were able to quickly put before it could spread to the house. several vehicles inside the garage were destroyed. no one was injured. police have arrested this man -- 27-year-old ivan cotton -- for allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend. officers say... when they arrived last night....near jones and cactus. they found cotton standing outside of a car.... the victim...who had been shot...was in the driver's seat... she was taken to the hospital ... where she later died. we now know the identity of the

stronghold in the country. abc's alex marquardt has the very latest. . tens of thousands of troops have been massing for days near the city which has been iraq's second biggest. we spent the day with kurdish peshmerga forces up here in the northern part of iraq. we went to visit several other this battle started and push isis out of mosul. this is their last stance. they have lost all of the other cities they took over in 2014. the question now is whth and other international forces on the ground, and the u.s. led coalition is carrying out airstrikes as well. the iraqi military has dropped leaflets on the city telling residents to stay away from isis positions that will be targeted. around one million people are expected to flee the fighting. the u.n. humanitarian crisis in the world this year. alex marquardt abc news erbil, iraq olympic runner...tyson gay....is mourning the loss of his daughter.

early this morning in lexington, kentucky. police say trinity gay was hit in the neck ...when a group of men in two cars began shooting at each other. the teen was rushed to the hospital, but later died. police have located one of the c involved... and are questioning possible suspects. three people were killed and 12 others were hurt ... during a shooting at a birthday party in south los angeles. left... and then returned with weapons. the group opened fire ... and shots were returned. officers believe this may be gang- related. i'm sorry they lost their lives but that we cant get together and you know...enjoy ourselves...and have fun or nothing like that...now, even

between. 2:51 linda: so there were some issues and there are some employees that are on probation because of certain procedural things that weren't being followed. there was food uncovered throughout the kitchen, including meat in the freezer which had fallen onto the floor. and, there were flies in the restaurant. 3:30 darcy: nobody likes to hear about bugs in a restaurant. they had their door open. let the fresh air in. it also let some flies in. 3:53 linda: they're very concerned about that and if you we should take a look in the labels. you've got your dates. just about everything looked ready for re- inspection... but on our way out... 11:39 darcy: ok wait! what is that? someone has to tell me what this is--this galaxy of water. linda, what is that? they say that's the evidence of their deep cleaning--waiting to be disposed of properly. darcy tag: korean garden still has a c grade. they anticipate re- inspection early next week. darcy spears, 13 action news.
