dont' want it bye-bye.." you'll remember adelson just succeeded in getting a bill passed to start construction on the proposed 1.9 billion dollar stadium... the people who helped bring an n-f- l stadium to las vegas announced plans today to create opportunity for the people who need it most. it's called the community benefits agreement -- and the purpose is to ensure that jobs created by the stadium will go to minorities and under-represented groups. part of the plan guarantees that at least half of the jobs locals. the politicians today made sure to point out these aren't just empty promises. a government oversight board will hold the stadium operators accountable to the agreement. 11:19:21 andy abboud, las vegas sands corporation vice president "this is about opportunity for everybody. this is an opportunity in the case of some of the ex-offenders who have turned their life around. let's give them an opportunity to have a good job and good pay with good benefits." the deal doesn't expire.

right now...authorities are looking for a nevada man...who was found guilty of sex offenses after failing to appear at his trial. police believe selvin zecena-valdez took off after his court date last thursday...up in sparks. under nevada law...the trial continued. a jury found him guilty on sexual assault charges against a minor. a former n-f-l star is sentenced for attempted sexual assault here in las vegas. a famous attorney was in the courtroom to make sure everyone knows what impact it had on the this morning--- civil rights attorney gloria allred spoke on behalf the victims. sharper wasn't in court...he's serving an 18 year prison sentence for drugging and raping as many as 16 women in several cities, including right here in las vegas. this case stemmed from a 20-14 incident --- when two women said sharper drugged them after meeting him at a nightclub here. even with sharper in prison in another state.. allred still wanted to send a

the steel truck driver fell into the hole and got stuck at a construction site in a neighborhood in the santa monica mountains. the hole was 50 feet deep. firefighters were eventually able to use a rope to pull him out. at last check-- he was in a major drug bust off the coast of californina. coast guard crews came across this submarine used to smuggle drugs. they seized more than 56-hundred pounds of cocaine
