dog.... it happened just outside of detroit saturday night.. family members say gage carter was chasing after his 18 month old puppy when both of them the driver....a 69-year-old woman stopped at the scene. drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the accident. "obviously he was ten years old. no one plans on burying their 10-year-old son. we could use the help. it would be appreciated." his family has set up a go fund me page to help pay for the funeral costs.

breath of fresh air.. but for millions of kids around the world that is hard to come by. and for many of them, breathing toxic air can be deadly. scripp's national correspondent kumasi aaron tells us where the impact is being felt most. across the world one in seven children live in areas with the most toxic levels of outdoor air pollution, at least six times the international guideline. unicef is asking world leaders to take action after their findings also revealed air pollution to contributing factor in the deaths of around 600,000 children under the age of five every year. dawn mullally / american lung association colorado 12:49:00-12 80% of the little air sacs in our lungs develop after we are born so if kids are more active if they are constantly being exposed to air pollution this is compromising their lung function. dawn mullally works with the american lung association. she says the pollution is caused by some of the same things we see here in the united states, vehicle emmisions, fossil fuels, and

week is recovering today after this dramatic rescue from her overturned vehicle it all started with this good samaratan....spotting the rolled over s- u-v from afar sot - doug bearden / hiker "that's when i saw something up on the hill that didn't look right." doug bearden -- hiking the rough terrain with his girlfriend to get a better look -- discovering a wreck sot - doug bearden / hiker "i got about twenty feet away from that car and the hair on my neck started to stand up." inside...the driver trapped - sot - doug bearden / hiker "she could barely lift her head, all i heard was like ohhhhhh." both without cell phones -- doug stayed with the car and his girlfriend ran home to call 911. sot - "it's really in a bad spot and i mean, it looks like it's gonna continue rolling. it just happened to stop on some rocks// it's upside down." san bernadino first responders -- rushing to the scene -- stabilizing the car... and identifying the woman inside as 69 year old barbara mcpherson -- reported missing
