was found dead inside her home. metro was called out to the home near rainbow and gowan last night. at first, officers couldn't go inside because of the toxic fumes. police say the incident may be related to drugs--but they're still investigating. neighbors complain there's been issues at the home before. :47:54/valento "there are children in the neighborhood, my house is in jeopardy-my family has to go through this all the time." police haven't said what type of issues they've dealt with at that home in the past. right now..police are on the hunt for this man who they say pulled a gun on a clerk. according to officers, the suspect robbed a store on east tropicana and nellis last month. they say he's wearing a distinctive red hat that says "cit of sin-las vegas." he also has long blonde hair and a soul patch. if you recognize him, call police. in just a few hours... clark county school board members are holding a meeting about two very big topics-- re-organizing the district....

schools into charter schools. it starts at 8-30 at the vegas p-b- s building on flamingo and mcleod. the meeting is open to the public, and there will be a section for people to make comments. up to six schools across our state that have been labeled as "underperforming" will be converted into charter schools. this is a list of the 9 being considered. the changes would take effect next school year. only on 13 action news--we're getting results for a woman who says she was asked to take off lounge on the strip. thanks to our story, the "peppermill" has now changed their policy. louvenia daan, muslim woman 19:23:45-19:23:51 "i wear a hijab all day and i see hundreds of thousands of customers and i've never been treated like that ever." the woman says it happened at "the fireside lounge" inside "the peppermill." a manager told her it was a policy that had been in place for 10- years..and it was security issue not a religious one. after our story aired,

the plane landed safely and the two- hundred-10 passengers were then put on other flights. american airlines is not elaborating on what went wrong. in tennessee---search and rescue crews are working around the clock trying to find survivors of a massive wildfire. crews recovered three more bodies yesterday, bringing the total number of people killed to at least ten. one of those killed, alice hagler, had been speaking to her son on the phone when the fast moving fire reacher her home. lyle wood/ mother was killed in wildfire: "things went from the winds picking up to the last phone call she made to my brother was the fact that she was really scared and frantic because the house was actually on fire at that point.

to douse hotspots. some are even refusing to sleep at home. a photo posted to facebook shows five firefighters assleep on the sidewalk after returning froma 30- hour shift. . we have new developments in last year's rampage at a holiday work party in san bernardino. investigators now think the christmas setting may have triggered the attack. new evidence shows the christmas decorations, tree and the office party may have been what set shooter syed farook and his wife over the edge. had essentially made the statement in an on-line account that she didn't think that a muslim should have to participate in a non-muslim holiday or event. the shooting began shortly after farook posed for a picture in front of the christmas tree. 14 people were killed, 22 more were hurt in the rampage which remains one of the deadliest terror attacks in u-s history. time now is x:xx --- coming

pressure! this means partly along with breezy to gusty conditions for the valley and high elevations. a wind advisory is up from 7am this morning to 10pm tonight for the following areasmesquite, moapa, overton, boulder city, lake mead, lake las vegas, searchlight, primm and laughlin. these areas should see gusts up to 50 mph. las vegas, pahrump, indian springs and the spring mountain range will see gusts between 30 and 40 mph with 10am to 3pm being the best window for the strongest winds.

dust, sand, pollen, and debris, it will also create a wind chill for the valley! the high temperature range for the valley today will be between 50 and 57 degrees which means it may feel like between 39 and 46 degrees during the peak warmth of the day! the breeze still holds into saturday but will subside by the evening and high temperatures rebound to the upper 50s through monday. the unfortunate news is that another front makes its way into the valley by tuesday morning and temperatures drop right back down into the upper 40s and lower 50s with brezy wednesday morning. mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be common.

learned a motorcycle rider has died after a three-vehicle crash in north las vegas. police tell us all the vehicles involved were going different it... sending the sedan head-on into an suv. two people in the sedan were taken to the hospital in stable condition. investigators are now looking into whether speed or alcohol were factors. meanwhile, the father accused of shooting and killing his son will make his first appearance in court this morning. according to an arrest police he didn't remember shooting his son or owning a gun. he also told police he has memory issues related to medication he takes. gardenhire says he picked up his--joshua lee--at a homeless shelter several days before the incident. he says the two had an argument before tuesday night's shooting. a u-n-l-v math teacher is under fire for comments he made about undocumented immigrants... students leaked these facebook screenshots.

morning. a seven-year-old girl was killed and several others were hurt including ten students. yesterday.... the van they were in was rear-ended by a truck.. investigators believe the van stopped to pick up other students when it was hit. the truck driver says he was blinded by the sun. meanwhile, five children are recovering after their school bus slammed into a wall in front of a home in miami. police say the bus driver swerved to miss a car that had ran a stop sign. the homeower says accidents like this happens often at his home. orlando fernandez: "this is the second time in five months."
